@patrickgoldenbridge1891 Would probably be more of a short but yeah. Once the light comes on you just have to shift up or down without pulling the clutch. The bike does everything else for you.

They came with the bike when I bought it. I thought those were standard haha. I think my first Radian I owned 12 years ago also had them so I didn't even notice.

I'm 5'7" too and I came from a 2019 R6 which has an almost 34 inch seat height lol. The 2024 MT09 (I got the SP) is a bit shorter and easy enough for me. Can't quite flat foot it but it's definitely not so high that it's difficult. I put insoles in my boots that helped me get a bit more reach 😂 only about 1cm but still, every little helps when you got short legs haha

@DerMGXenoX I'll see what I can do but it won't be anytime soon. I got a lot on my plate. So far the easiest way I've noticed is running a cable along the underside of the tank.

@damacknificent151 Yup, if you release to quickly it will stall. Slow enough and you'll roll.

Same, it's good to know I wasn't the only one with this issue though. I run into problems with programs, development, and hardware all the time. I go looking for the solution and begin to think I'm the only person with the issue because there are never any videos or forums talking about it, not even from the manufacture. I'll tell you what though, they'll be happy to take more of your money to replace whatever it is or have a tech fix it for you.

Yeah, I guess (based on other comments) older models had a port around the display. If that's the case, I'm not sure why they would do away with it.

My understanding is there are two boot screens which display randomly. The original theory was one boot screen plays between specific hours and the other screen plays other hours. That isn't true though. There is not an option to set a specific boot screen.

No 🫤. I bought a 3 foot cable with a right angle connection. I'm able to plug in my phone and have it in my pocket or reach up to my gopro now. Haven't tested the practicality yet though.

They do have an auxiliary connector behind the headlight shroud.

If it's leaking gas from the two black tubes that come from the left and right of the carbs, then it's overflowing. To answer your question, they just dangle down past/towards the "A" arm (not the technical term). Those are overflow tubes, meaning your floats in the carbs are either not adjusted to the correct height, are stuck so the needle won't sit properly and can't create a seal, or the needles are worn and need to be replaced. If you have to adjust the floats, I recommend taking notes. The owners manual states they should be set around 20 or 21 mm if I remember correctly. However, mine ended up around 22-23mm. I made sure the fuel level was correct for each carb bowl as well. If you have Facebook, look up Yamaha Radian group. Has about 2.7k members, I posted a bunch about the carbs on there. Otherwise, one of these days I'll pull apart my spare to demonstrate.

I had a 2020 Z900 and loved. But for the money the new MT09 is a much better purchase!

Just to add, if this still doesn't work out for someone; - Disconnect your TV/monitor - Switch to desktop mode - Delete these textfiles (leave the folderstructure intact) - Reboot into gamemode - Connect your TV After this, the problem fixed itself for me.

Right now, I can't say for sure because I'm all over the place when it comes to throttle. The TFT says I average 49 mpg currently which is pretty close since I've been getting 100-150 miles out of the tank each fill up. Again, I just can't help but go full throttle every chance I get right now. I'm sure when I ride more conservatively it will increase.

It has quickshift, even different settings for it.

Agreed, it's not good but way better than it originally was. I had to do way more post-processing. At first the sound was only in my left ear, and the sound within the video file was clipping badly (what you're hearing is the backup DJI can record). I think next time I'm going to try plugging my mic into the transmitter and tuck the transmitter in my jacket. Luckily I didn't remove my old mic from my helmet yet.

This channel would explode if I did. I'm not ready for that kind of publicity.
