👍
Best Blues player in the universe
I can’t believe jack Pearson had to play this shithole dive smh
Squier fazendo seu trabalho.
Looks a Lil like Chuck Negron
this guy is too good, as in "there's too much salt in there " !! Disgustingly good i said !!
How is he playing so clean without right much right hand muting?
Hope this helps explain his muting technique. ruclips.net/video/cocVwlyPosw/видео.html
@@rickybrasfield8978 thank you!
Incredible! Cant wait. I see Jack next month in Nashville.
man, this dude is a great guitar guy
That guitar needs a Cigarette after that one!
Amazing playing! I was experiencing guilt for enjoying my Squier Bullet more than my Gibson's and Fender's... but it really is a magical and insanely playable little guitar that inspires you to write songs again.
That, my friends, is just not fair. And it look so effortless.......
Squier
Saw Billy Strings on Theo Von and he mentioned this man. I've been missing out!!!
Naaahh. He played SQUIER. Sound cheap. Let's skip... Every guitars sound great in the master's hand
So relaxed and smooth; and always exiting and full of surprises
It's been 27 years since I first said who's that to jack pearson and I've been amazed ever since!!!
I’m selling my Dobro
and get a National instead 😄? Seriously though - for Blues a biscuit bridge reso is great for the blues sound like Jack's playing here. It's a much shorter note than on the spider bridge dobro which tends, IMHO, to render itself better for country blues with its singing resonance. But I think I know what you're saying!!.....but don't give up. Rember; for me anyway, Jack's at the top of the tree. You'll get some beautiful sounds out of your instruments, I'm absolutely sure. Happy sliding bro' !!!
Man I’d love to see him play live. I guess that’s only going to happen if I go to Nashville.
Sept 21 TTB in Nashville. Jack please make an appearance!
This looks like the Station Inn in the Gulch in Nashville. I was fortunate enough to see and hear Jack play there many times. Jack is an incredible player who is comfortable with both acoustic and electric rock, blues, jazz, gospel and other genres. He is truly a nice guy who genuinely appreciated his audience as much as we appreciated him.
I wonder what kind of overdrive he was using
This is the absolute best case example to nullify the expensive tonewood/expensive instrument paradigm that some people will die on the hill for. Meanwhile for the rest of us: Mr. Jack Pearson on a cheap guitar that’s made out of who gives a shit, the playing and tone are fucking awesome.
YES! ❤
Jack is 100% authentically roadhouse approved! He doesn’t just look the part. He is it!
Jack is BUTTER!
Aweful
Who is operating his way-wah, I wahnder?
No wah. He does it by opening the tone control for the bridge pickup halfway and using a combination of his thumb, thumbnail and pick when he strikes the strings. He demonstrates it in the video he did with Marty Schwartz a couple of years ago.
The greatest slide player no one’s ever heard of. The greatest, period…
Is this the Station Inn that’s in the Gulch in Nashville? Does Jack still play around Nashville at all?
Yes, it is the Station Inn. He hasn’t played out lately but he has been concentrating on new recordings available on Bandcamp and his website.
So good! Is this an original tune?
Yes. You can get cd’s at jackpearson.com. 😎
so loose!
Literally the best guitarist I’ve ever heard.
me too! He's playing Oct 25 Nashville 3rd and LIndsley, I am there!
Legendary Jack. Drums are spot on
Jack P is the baddest sum bitch I’ve ever seen. He is perfection at the greatest level of music in my opinion.
so good
This music is righteous!
I’m sure you put a smile on Jimi’s face 😀✌️
Super bad ass cool from the best. Thanks.
The man is sooo uderrated!😊❤
Nice to see the squier is back thd last man was the marillion guitarist with his famous black squier
Is that in open tu.ning
Alright !!
It's hard to differentiate tone in any electric guitar when using a slide. It's that metalic sustain that's so mesmerizing and doesn't require an expensive guitar to make. Beyond that is what you do with the sound the guitar makes and in this case I think that it comes from the soul so play on soul brother !
It takes a skilled slide player too. Not one that sounds like a room full of cats screeching.
Jesus. Every time I watch this I learn something new. Jack should’ve been in the top 50 of all time.
Check out the “Cottontail” video. Plenty of licks to steal on that one, too.
@@rickybrasfield8978 how’d you know I was stealing licks? Ha. I love Jack. My fantasy would be to go back in time and hear him solo on a Steely Dan song. He’s also very humble.
Top 10…he’s the same Universe as Danny Gatton…and there are not many in that Universe.
Who’s on the B-3? Runnin’ those pedals like a champ. Reminds me of Skip Van Winkle!
That would be Charles Treadway on B3 and kicking the pedals
He is so good❤
pulling out all the stops.. with ease and a smile
Sheezusssssss 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Squier with pickups upgrade? I think...
Stock pickups.
