I only just learned today that Buddy Baker composed this logo's music. Had no idea that he did. I know him as the composer for "Summer Magic" (1963), the Merlin Jones films ("The Misadventures of Merlin Jones" (1964) & "The Monkey's Uncle" (1965)), and the original Winnie the Pooh featurettes.

It's nice music.

This CED of Disney's Candleshoe Originally Came Out in 1981 Then VHS/Beta in Neon Mickey Series in Early 1985 Then Disney Studio Films VHS Collection in 1991, and Finally 1999 Re-Issue for Anchor Bay Video with The Same Time on DVD. Then Disney DVD in 2003.

My all-time favorite movie opening🤗

As a Gen Xer, I always liked this movie when it shown on cable in the early 80's. Disney when it was still Disney: family/kid friendly entertainment. Still, it is surprising that Disney hired Jodie Foster to do this and "Freaky Friday" just a year after she did "Taxi Driver." She's great, but, boy, does she look butch in this. (Was anyone surprised when she came out?) Also, the writer David Swift was the writer and/or director for the '60's Disney's classics: Pollyanna and The Parent Trap. His 1st wife was model/actress Maggie McNamara who became one of Hollywood's sadder tales.

The only Neon Mickey logo I've seen on DVD was on The Cat From Outer Space, touting "50 Years of Mickey". Can anyone find a clearer version than that?

It's not a plane I've seen it several times it always seems to show up early in the morning just before daybreak and right thereof it is most certainly not a plane.

This was an interesting approach. The film is generally light-hearted, with hardly any action or real drama. But with this opening, you care about what happens to Tony and Tia before you actually meet them. It's a bold move that really pays off in the end.
