Shouldve bought decent clobber with the bike mate, gets cold and wet on a bike 😂
@@christopherwhipps9474 nah couldn't afford it and ran out of money for razor blades too
Great to meet you today Paul, how's that battery light 😄 looking for to watching more of your awesome adventures, good work mate 😊
@JEMMTB1 thanks Jeremy for sorting out the bikes today. Good to catch up! Mate I think I need to stick to riding the things rather than trying to diagnose what's wrong with them!! Haha Love the MTB channel btw!
@TheIndianCrusader Haha, you're very good at making videos, Paul. I enjoy much!
Hi mate, enjoying the vlog. Which video had your walkaround for the bike and packing setup? PS - I'd watch an extended video of that as well. I really like them for some reason 😂😂
@dysfctn666 I reckon I might release it this evening... it's a rough 10 min walk around. May not get many watches so give it a thumbs up! Haha
@@TheIndianCrusaderI won't be the only one that likes that kind of stuff, surely. You might be surprised, haha!
I will get you a doggies poncho for next time it rains mate
@tpaustin4703 nah the colours will clash with the red hair! Onya sidey!
Awesome I had seen somebody comment videos only come out on Friday so stoked to have a midweek watch cheers Paul 2 wheels down ride safe brother
@@anotheraussiebattla233 keeping y'all on your toes!
This journey is sure putting the "A" back into adventure Paul. The uncertainty of the trip is great. Your timing was spot on as to whether of not to stay at that last stop.... just before the rain came pouring down. Great stuff. Cheers, Sean.
@SeanC1959 camping in that flooded ground would have made for great content to look back on in years to come ! Plenty of adventure to come

My girlfriend and I went on our first motorcycle camping holiday in 1979. We took three weeks from Denmark trough Germany, Schweiz and France to Monaco and back on my $1200 two stroke GT550 using paper maps. Our age was not half of this bloke but we brought our rain gear and packed our stuff in cheap plastic bags. I'm 66 years old and had a nice motorcycle holiday this summer camping in Osterode am Harz - even with 5 days out of 9 with rain. I don't find it interesting watching twats complaining about rain and "slippery roads", staying in luxury hotels and calling it an adventure or an expedition. Sorry. Have a nice holiday.
This warrants a response. lowering yourself to an insult (Twat) to someone you do not know at the age of 66, really? Secondly, complaining about conditions on this ride and staying in luxury hotels? You sir have this series very much confused. Furthermore, this 'nice holiday' has turned into a rider giving up his time, money and energy to now raising over $20,000 for Australians in need.
You should be the Indian ambassador
You're a pretty accurate kick for an old fella 👌
Last time I rode an Indian around Australia he kept complaining about his back.
It's such a nice feeling to have something to get up early in the morning for, something to look forward to even if it's just kicking a footy through the posts, it gives an enormous feeling of wellbeing, the answer to having a happy and much longer life,...Hey up! Surely there is a clothing company out there waiting to sponsor you, Extreme and Diverse weather around the world is becoming worse every year, just remember the six Ps "Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance" OAP Wales UK.
Missed catching ya while you were in Perth Enjoying your account of the journey
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. We are so fortunate to be able to call this magnificent country "home".
@@NarelleWalker my desire to travel overseas is diminishing every day. Our land is truly magnificent
Great videos Paul, showing us some of the country we will never see. Lovin' it mate. PS, I hope you get the 100 goals.
@mickssouthaussieadventures1631 Mick, the 100 goals is killing me! Had a shocker of a run in WA! but will get there eventually!
@@TheIndianCrusader I hope so Paul, I'm lovin' this series.
@@TheIndianCrusader Is there any chance we can meet up when you get to my neck of the woods Paul? Can show you a couple of nice ovals where you can kick a goal plus a nice bakery to have lunch.
@mickssouthaussieadventures1631 where are you Mick? This series is a week or so behind. However, spoiler alert, I hit the road next Friday 13th from Geelong back up to the Kimberly region via Adelaide, PA, Coober Pedy, Alice etc. Quick run up over 7 days. Donating over $20,000 to Aussies in need from funds raised on this lap. That series will be one epic ride and can't wait
@@TheIndianCrusader I'm in Port Pirie Paul. Your ride from Adelaide to Pt. Augusta will take you right past here.
Top man 👍👊
That flat out there you could just about see tomorrow coming mate!
@southozmoto and that rain still beats Victoria weather!
loving it say safe
Aren't you still dealing with roo, etc on the road at dawn? 🤔🇦🇺
@@Hipporider sure am, always on look out
@@TheIndianCrusader bloody hell, you're game.
Good Lad. See if we will see you around adelaide then
Great video Paul!! Sugar free vees I swear by them.have one before every ride.!!!
@juliebentley344 laughing to myself as I throw one down now before the gym!
I'm a bit late catching up with your video as I've been away embracing nature. Yes Paul your freestyle approach to motorcycle journeying is great. It's not overdone and always inspiring to this retired old recluse - making me get off my arse and take up riding again. Between your channel and Captain Cranky's I'm getting a great dose of motorcycle psychotherapy. Cheers mate and keep those wheels rolling. Sean.
@SeanC1959 good to have you back in one piece Sean. I'll also need to check out captain crankys channel
@@TheIndianCrusader You may well like CCs channel. Like yourself, his vlogs are about the ride and not about himself. In your case you're also including the good spirit and joy that the footy component brings to the young blokes from out back communities. You both narrate as you go (you do well with one camera and the rear view of the ride as you're narrating works well) and don't overdo the "selfies" or excessive non motorcycling banter that some channels have.
Next time you're riding into the sun put your baseball cap on under your helmet for a sun visor
Kudos to you Paul we’re all living vicariously through your vlogs and trust me you won’t regret it in 20 years time!
Jealous man, what a great ride😊
Since you have been adding gear to improve your video quality It might be good thought to have a remote mic you can attach to your shirt.. Thanks for the videos man, I do enjoy ❤ them.
@@brianjohnhendry4062 will look into this
so blessed to have found your channel mate what an adventure i just got my first bike ninja 250 hope to eventually get something more freeway friendly and do the same enjoy!
@anotheraussiebattla233 great to have you on board, ride safe
Very good to see your progress Paul.. I'm really enjoying your videos. That's lot of time on your own out there mate.. A long and steady dose of mental health medicine.. Thank you for sharing.
Go go go one day more!!!!! 🏍🏍🏍🏍🥂🥂🥂🥂👍👍👍🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 SALUDOS DESDE BARCELONA!!!! Xavi
Hey up! I managed to tune into Australia's Channel 7 network, Making TV Headlines for all the right reasons, Well done Paul, such a shame that a similar solution can't be used for the bored youngsters of Alice Springs, bringing communities together with something as simple as footy boots, one day perhaps, I have posted a Short clip of your interview on my RUclips channel,... Love these episodes and will be looking forward to your future trips around Australia in your 4x4, Hey don't forget an off road Enduro strapped to the back ay,......As the 50s and 60s American Indian Flat Track Wrecking Crew used to say "FULL THROTTLE LEFT TURN" .OAP Wales UK.
@@WreckingCrewHR4K so much I want to share about exciting things to come.... watch this space! What a journey this has been
Definitely the best stretch of accessible road in Australia!
Hey champion when you pull over get right off the road driving education isn’t high in this country and were you look is were you go someone will get you.
@RodneyHall-e7z can't argue with this and do agree. Typically I am well off the road when pulled over, must admit this trip I dropped the ball a few times now i think about it
I really appreciate your vids mate. Something different and a great view of Australia.
Bazzahhhhhhhhhh !!😇
@@frankmorris2603 I had to do this take twice. I burst out laughing at myself when I first said his name... should have kept that in there!
Having done both ways, and once through from Karijini’s to Karratha, your angel did you a massive favour. The road via Tom Price is 10x better than the main highway, which also has its highlights. Really enjoyed that episode, one of the best rides on Oz.
@ritchieok29 hard to capture on the small camera but you know what I mean when I say that road scenery engulfs you. It's magnificent
Now you’ve done it , my missus was born in port headland and was looking forward to see how much it’s changed and you bypassed so I can’t guarantee your safety when you get back to Victoria m8 she’s pissed
@@vadersfather1248 hahaha next lap I'll drop in promise!

Clearly you've found the music library that real estate agents use for their videos!
@michaelnoonan692 oh shit I just read the handle! And now know who this is hahaha bloody noonan!!!
It's funny that first song sounded like a bloody real estate agent promo!!! I thought I had heard it somewhere haha
Awesome effort again mate. I look forward to Friday’s when new episodes pop up on the Tube. Easy viewing watching you cruise around our big country on the big Indian. Ride safe brother 🤙
I've just come across your channel & have really enjoyed this video. I'm an older lady, not a bike enthusiast, but do enjoy watching some of these channels for the scenery & may I say that yours has been the best....no yahooing/showing off or foul language. I'm now looking forward to catching up to this episode. Take care & safe travels.
Paul comes across as a good bloke , and interesting even when he is riding through country that dosn't change for many miles .
@NarelleWalker thank you, this is great to read. Sincere apologies for one of my earliest videos with some foul language due to an emotional mothers day ride
Really enjoying following you on your journey! Safe travels mate
Gday mate, what helmet make/model is that your wearing? Cheers
@@_Wiltern__ M2R Prime model... AMX superstore
@@TheIndianCrusader M2R Prime looks great on you mate, but they make me look like Dan Ackroyd in Coneheads unfortunately 😂😂 Gotta stick with my full face for now...
@dysfctn666 haha I hear ya. it's bloody painful trying on helmets for years until the right one fits!
Mate, please ditch those bungee straps and swap out to the proper ratchet cargo straps. The cargo straps won't let go and leave your stuff down the road, possibly causing an accident. I remember a bloke in Tassie who had his bag strapped on the back of his Suzuki Katana with bungee straps /occy straps. The bag went onto the back wheel and locked the rear wheel up at 180 kph! He came off at that speed and all he got was a smashed ankle.😳 Could've been a lot worse. 🇦🇺
@@Hipporider agree occy isn't the greatest. At time it's all I had
Enjoyed this one. I do miss the days I used to drive those roadtrains out in the middle of nowhere. Keep up the great work

@tonymcdonough994 thanks Tony. Good people out on the road and WA locals are some of the best in the country
most people travel clockwise around australia like you l travelled anti clockwise and the best way to go because you get to meet people that have been the way your going and they can tell what is good or what is bad . love your channel
@gravelrashadventures5051 100%. It's been a game changer.... more videos coming in WA.... what a legendary place that state is... one big playground and loads of travellers, love it
Indian motorcycles shame its still not in the original hands but I suppose things change, the bikes that Polaris produce under the Indian name are a beautiful looking bike. Ill have to stay with my Goldwing as I cant afford to change. Cost
Yeah I know what you mean, at same time my understanding is Polaris builds for the US military which gives me confidence in their product. Good to see they are keeping the heritage alive. Goldwing a nice ride I'd imagine
Omg man, i ride Indian Chieftain, and been from Chicago west, WY, SD, and Arizona too . I was thinking America is emptiness, but actually Australia is really middle of nowhere , so crazy unpopulated area, and quite hot and interesting climate. Its like forgot land . im glad someone is enjoying it!! Cheers
@vackyvlada1 this is epic. Love hearing all the way from USA, a ride I want to do one day there. Hopefully my next episode shows even more isolated Aussie scenery. Let America know Indian is alive and kicking in Australia!!!
