Well said Barry, No over acting drama scenes and Paul actually takes the time to acknowledge his comments weither subscribed or not, unheard of, doesn't cost anything to show a bit of respect for others, hopefully this channel will encourage others to do the same.
I Love it that you are so enthusiastic with your trip, I can relate as I did this last years as well during winter, took me six weeks and could do it again in a heart beat. Good work
You rode right past Bowen, a lovely little town with THE BEST BEACHES IN QUEENSLAND! To add insult to injury, you went on to stay in Ayr, an inland township with bugger all beaches! Enjoy your ride.❤️🇦🇺
Great to see that you're really enjoying this ride Paul. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Those dipstick plugs need to be tight. I had a similar thing happen with my Beamer which has an under seat tank and the filler on the side of the seat. Petrol leaking everywhere and a potential fire. Great video too. Stay safe and have fun. Cheers, Sean.
@SeanC1959 thanks Sean, I don't want to go back to the cities! This is life changing touring. Biggest concern atm is keeping eye on tyre tread for remote WA leg coming up
@@TheIndianCrusader Yep, you don't want those tyres to wear down too far Paul. When you're in the middle of the outback, a tyre failure is the last thing that you need. Take care mate.
Well done, I would love to do something like that one day. Maybe the cape. I think my sporty won’t cope will have to get a cruiser. How much fun are you having… so jealous! Stay safe.
@RachaelSchembri thank you..... cruiser all the way! Just do it! Don't overthink it! I'm already thinking Cape too... this trip has me thinking constantly about the next move....can't wipe the smile off my face.
Great Chanel,! good on you for just doing it. I did vic to Darwin explored the centre. Kakadu ect in a camper last year, so I know your day 11 roads. There’s nothing around but it’s just beautiful. Spectacular. You’ve inspired me to focus on a bigger bike and just do it. Ill need a side kick, any takers?? 😂
@RachaelSchembri get a cruiser and meet you at the Kimberly this weekend haha. I made it to Darwin (videos coming soon)... leave Darwin tomorrow or Friday for Broome/Perth leg
Not sure if ur still on the rd .. but got a mate on a shadow who's in Cloncurry now. Heading to Darwin.. Nic from nicontrast.. good bloke. Ballarat shop is awesome, had a service there on my 2021 trip.
@digbysdownunder in Darwin now and leaving Thurs for Broome/Perth. I'll look him up. Have met some ripping fellas on the road, been good sharing the stories
@@TheIndianCrusader Look like ur doing the run I did in 21.. have you been to Daly Waters yet? Halls Creek and Fitzroy crossing, keep your wits about you. Enjoy.. will be watching.
@digbysdownunder Daly Waters was a highlight, loved that pub and had a top night there. Good advice next leg. I'm getting a lot of people on road warning me with this next run across to Broome. Gonna keep low profile and probably camp out of towns
@TheIndianCruisader Don't sweat it to much mate, it's a bloody great ride across there. Apparently there is a great place to stay out of town from Fitzroy crossing.. I didn't know it till later.. but would definitely have stayed there, motorcycle friendly and safe. Reach out if you need anything when you get to PERTH.. Cheers
How about ditching the sissy bar, leaving only the flat rack and mount a big Pelican case on the back of the rack and the back pillion seat, acting as a rider back rest as well? They come in large sizes with trolley wheels and retractable handles like airport wheelie bags. Possibly even make it easily detachable? 🤔🇦🇺
@Hipporider that's not a bad idea. The wheelie concept is something I'm keen on because carrying circa 23kg when I get off is becoming frustrating. That indian bag cost me a pretty penny too! Good advice ✌️
Mate on your way through SA, come a put that Sherrin through the goal posts at the Roosters home ground at our little country town at Strathalbyn. A beaut little town about an hour Southeast of Adelaide, also a popular bike destination👍
Yes indeed. Gravel rash can need skin grafts which are expensive and very painful. At least he's got gloves. Try googling "degloved hand" image for inspiration to wear gloves. 👀🇦🇺
