Filthy Echo 2511 in for some Go Fast Work
I had a customers 500i in a few months ago. Clutch exploded at full noise. Destroyed the case, oil pump, oil pump drive, clutch cover, brake band, brake mechanism. Was not a cheap job. 😢
Wow 😯! That was unreal…. I’ve never seen that before, Richard.
Looks like it got hot
Wowww...
How many tanks of gas do you think it takes to break in a new saw?
I rebuilt a chainsaw One time And started it between my legs and the flywheel Exploded and it blew my meat whistle all the way over to my next door neighbor's front yard ...
Too much heat on the clutch?
How? Why? Wow!
Wow! I’ve never seen one that bad. Not even when I worked at the dealership 😮
Why does the saw have the black on clutch cover and an old school carb? Was that how they were for a bit? I have a older 362 and it's got a white cover
WOW!
That sucks I think I'd just make her art and go buy a nother enjoy it everyone
OEM? Or was it aftermarket stuff?
Wow i have never seen such damage before. It must be somekind of factory defect, i dont know?
That's my favorite saw! Taps started playing in my house for some reason
Funny. If it was a Husky, the only thing left would be the handlebar...........
Well now! It was only going 70 MPH when it unwound....
What do you use to cut the squash band it dose a nice job
I'd love if you could show how worn the inside of the drum was where the shoes ride. That's a wear part not many people pay enough attention to. I'm willing to bet that the drum was pretty worn and one in better shape might've contained the carnage.
That's amazing, saving this one to my Chainsaw playlist.
Does anyone send you a nice well maintained clean anything to work on🤔
Almost guarantee they hit the chain brake at full throttle and running dull. If not then I would like to hear the "REAL STORY"
Probably running a 28 on her. Dull chain!!
DO NOT use Belray oils in small two strokes. Nothing builds up carbon plating on a piston faster than Belray H1R and MC1. I have torn down many engines ruined with that stuff.
WOT brake application?
Wow😮!!!!!
Ha there You talk about after market part like they are the worst thing in the world I know from first hand that not all after market parts are bad You just have to be patient and do the work to the best possible But not everyone has your wallet and can buy factory parts so try to show some guidance lines and do what is write by the price and not just say buy factory I never buy factory I always buy aftermarket for all my saws concrete and chain saws so I don’t know where you are coming from Thanks
Rich nice video ❤❤❤ Always something new 🫣🫣🫣
Rich your wealth of knwoledge 😊😊😊 2nd to none. 👍👍👍
Is a o thirty four worth rebuilding
HOLY!! Nope, never seen anything like that😳 guessing the drum got worn too thin?
A little saw maintenance is a good practice, that saw has been around the block a few times.
I'm going with instant stoppage and operator jump on that one. I'm very impressed with the shoe springs.
Never saw one that bad. More importantly, where did you get that vise
She couldn't take much more of that could she?? wow
Another victim of the Stihl swamp water
😂😂😂😂😂
Those damn blue lasers.
This is what happens when you do not use OEM saw chain!😁
Last time I saw something that bad was a 12 bolt chevy rear that exploded on a drag strip and put pieces over an inch into the asphalt!
😮😮😮😮
So the drum got thin enough to finally blow out?
Wow carnage 😮
Nope not in my 40 years of saws have i seen one that bad!
Wow
Wow! I wonder what that sounded like when it flew apart!
I’m wondering how loud it was and what it smelled like.
If its that bad on the outside you will have a fryd cylinder and bearings
My wife used to get grumpy with me because I don’t loan out chainsaws. Then she went with me to get a new chain. She said let em get their own saws. Saws are expensive to buy and not cheap to maintain.
Typical new stihl ! Seems to me as time goes on the quality has gone down the tube , but that is for just about anything you buy these days
It's 7 years old and heavily used. Nothing is going to last forever.
I here you , i run a 261 and a 461 both 12 yrs old and run the crap out of them and knock on wood have had zero issues , but i an anal about my maintenance , thanks for another good video 🤙
I don’t see any evidence of overheating. Do you thing it was weak springs?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Clutch springs do break.
@@sawmanbigtreeslayer2360 yes they can, especially the hook. I’ll look again. Didn’t see any broken springs. They appeared to be weakened and lengthened. Didn’t see any discoloration either. I like knowing not assuming.
Same way as doing head Crack check on car engine , magnaflux it
Hard to imagine how they did that to their saw!
