Defensive Tactics Workshop | Glen Rock Police & Trasso Jiu Jitsu
Coach Michael Trasso, Founder of Trasso Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling in Glen Rock, NJ, performed a 90-minute Jiu Jitsu based Defensive Tactics workshop for the Glen Rock Police Department. The goal of this workshop was to help the officers understand how to safely bring the suspect to the ground, establish a position of control/regain control, gain compliance, and apprehend the suspect without excessive use of force. Coach Trasso also demonstrated to the officers how to escape if someone takes you to the ground and is mounted on top of you and controlling you. #combatives #defensivetactics #police

    I have a question about recovery. I have been experiencing pain in my neck, somewhere around the C1 to C7 vertebrae, as well as in my upper back, and I can clearly feel the soreness or weird pain from T2 to T4 or possibly T5. This pain initially began 9 months ago after I was stacked aggressively during a roll. I thought it was just my T2, and I rested for a week but I could always felt a little bit of the back but the pain resurfaced last week and is affecting me again. Now, I can feel discomfort somewhere in the C1 to C7 region, and I am clearly experiencing issues in my upper back from T2 to T4/T5.I am looking for guidance on how to recover, as I hope I won’t experience paralysis.

    What these videos miss are good set ups and timing which 100 percent of the time will determine if these techniques work or not. This will not work if you don’t unbalance your opponent and catch the leg when there is no weight on it. Pointless to even teach this without even a good simple set up.

    • @themerge.online
      @themerge.online Месяц назад

      @@The021589cjr no risk technique like this doesn’t need a set up. A set up is great but there is no risk here. If I miss it… I am still back in a good stance ready to go. If I’m taking a single leg, or double leg, or a higher risk shot where my body could be in bad positioning if I miss it then set ups are critical. Easy concept
