Just picked up our second ess she is a black Tri roan. it’s been 15 years since we lost our Rosie and thought it was time for another. Like a female for a bunch of reasons but they always care about doing good. Faster at potty training.

I had two males they wanted to kill each other.

fixed males are better than fixed females... they just want to please and are so loving. Currently I have a whole male and he is all about he is in charge!

first off why are there no cover on the electric plates... big problem with little noses moving around... cover your electrics, girl!

Retired breeders make the best canine companions! They're typically free to good home with spay or, if already spayed, the breeder charges an adoption fee to cover the spay cost (and maybe vaccinations). You'll pay far less for a retired breeder than for a purebred or designer puppy.. I got my now 5 year old F1 labradoodle Opal almost 2 years ago for free from her breeder who was retiring Opal after 3 litters. Opal was CKC registered, had hip scans, a full breeding history, vet records showing her vaccinations and was current on her heartworm and flea treatments. Opal was also leash and house trained. Opal's breeder called my veterinarian for a reference before I went to meet Opal. It was love at first sight for both of us so I took Opal home the day we met and had her spayed 2 weeks later. Although labradoodles have a reputation as high energy dogs, Opal is calm, chill and laid back. Opal is the best canine companion I've ever had.

Love Australian Shepherds, I've also considered that breed along with the Welshie....in particular the Miniature American Shepherd (the AKC version here in the US). I LOVE the ones with the red coats.

Would the 58" cover your tire tracks ? Asking because I was thinking of getting the 58" with L2502. I don't have mine yet... it gets delivered in a few weeks. I opted for the R4 tires and of course they didn't have any in stock.

I had a Male liver and white English Springer a few years ago I currently have a female Miniture Poodle Cocker Spaniel but I think I might go for a Male liver and white or black and white English Springer again for my next dog after all the Male liver and white English Springer I had before was just like the description you gave for a male

The little green Meanies hammered anything even close to adult here, WNY, but didn't touch my saplings. Problem is they're going down way faster than I can work them.

Thanks for the comparison video. Clearly there is a difference in stamina and endurance between the show and field/working Springers. It is clear that males are physically larger and with that more physically powerful than the females. Power aside, is there a difference in stamina and endurance between the males and females. Does physical size or male/female influence their stamina and endurance? On a 20-30 mile hiking day (maybe back to back hiking days on a multi-day or multi-week thru-hiking trip) would one tire before the other, or would the males and females be evenly matched for stamina and endurance? Likewise, my chosen dog would also have the opportunity to swim and run alongside my canoe on multi-day, long canoeing trips covering 20-30+ miles a day. A tired dog riding or sleeping in the canoe is Ok, but having to carry the dog at the end of a long day of walking is a different matter. Friends have told me that they have had to carry their dogs out of the mountains in the past. A smaller dog in the canoe (or joining me in a small lightweight hiking tent), particularly on white water or long open water crossings is easier, but does size and sex equate to stamina and endurance? N.B. A Labrador Retriever would have the stamina and endurance for both types of trips, but a smaller dog would be better in the canoe or tent, hence wandering about the stamina and endurance of male vs female ESSs. The right dog will absolutely love and thrive in my world, but the wrong one will hate it and will probably be scared to come on the next trip!

Thanks for both of the English vs Welsh Springer Spaniel comparison videos, and the male vs female video. It would be great to also see it from the opposite perspective with a video on the ideal English Springer Spaniel owner vs the ideal Welsh Springer Spaniel owner to help decide which I as a prospective owner I most resemble, to help me and other prospective owners identify which Springer Spaniel we would be most suited for. Even better if as an extra twist, the English/Welsh/male/female consideration was also thrown into the mix. That’s if the ideal owner for each variant can be identified.
