I’d say it would involve modifying the FILTER function in cell E11 to check against the Department and Role columns, rather than the Role column by itself, leaving everything else the same.

Unfortunately not as there’s an underlying TRUE or FALSE value behind each checkbox that occupies the entire cell.

Interesting question! Assuming that the name of the table remains the same then it can exist on any page and this method will work just fine. If the name ends up changing however, then that’s a different story!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Sadly, it doesn’t look like there’s a way to control the fill of the checkbox at the moment. It’s pretty much limited to only changing the color of the checkbox. Maybe they’ll have different types of checkboxes available in the future!

Great question! Conditional Formatting rules can be applied in a certain order. In this example, the rule that checks for Completed tasks happens first and so it applies the Conditional Formatting first, even though the Priority is High. If we reversed the order of the rules so that the check for High Priority tasks happens first, then the High Priority Completed tasks would have been highlighted yellow with bolded red text.

Hey! This is the Office 365 Desktop App, and this is the newest version of the checkbox so that you don’t need to use the one in the developer tab anymore.

It’s possible that the data within the PDF isn’t in the best format. These can be a bit finicky.

It might work if you use the scanned document used an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) scanner. I haven’t tried it though.

There’s a way to combine the tables by using the ‘Append’ command in PowerQuery. It can be tricky as you’ll need to have the same column headers in each of the tables for it to work properly.
