i reckon it'd do about as well as EB110, and would be in its category along with XJ220 - extra costly very low production. both of these cars have been around that era and were not the most sold vehicles precisely because they were not from big boys like Lambo or Ferrari. NSX worked because it had backing of Honda, incredibly huge corporation that can afford to throw around money on prestige projects, Nissan would had to have partnered with someone new for larger scale distribution as opposed to Honda just adding their showcase car into any of their showrooms, have it serviced everywhere their affilaite and partener services are... Ultimatley not much would've changed realy it would have been very curious and beloved oddity (like deTomaso Panthera or my favourite Mangusta) known to conniseurs. the car would be looked back at fondly for having bras balls to actualy go the whole way and dare challange others, might have even gottne honda to step things up as mentioned in video. But when Honda steps things p they end up with the 2002 MotoGP V5 engine so that'd leave Mid4-2 in the dust few years later again, and due to its financing Nissan woudl not be able to afford keeping that up. than again i do dream of world where Lancia never fell to the lows its in now, where British Leyland managed to work out its insurmountable issues, where Mitsubishi managed to keep up both on market and in WRC, world wehre Collin Mcrae's car was actualy made as production car (perhaps under morris garage if we were to continue the survival of Leyland in appretiable degree theory).

Never let a V45 or 65 engine idle. Maintain high oil pressure and flow: look for power before torque. Never ever cruise at less than 4,000rpm and the cams will last forever. Also: have a firm grip with both hands on the bars, dont even think of waving one hand while riding, this would kill you.

I have the 3.0l surf as they are called here in england, my best car I've ever had and I've had a few. Had it nearly 20yrs,service engine regularly every 8000miles.runs like a top. Only rust issue is front bumper which I have a new one to go on but the oldie is still hanging in there. She has 313000 on the clock with no sign of conking out any time soon. I use her daily off and on road it handles both well. I'm never gonna sell it. I have a fairly new landrover fr2 and toyo will knock spots off it easy.

I had an 88 VMax that I bought new during the winter and the dealer stored it for me until April. I loved that bike and rode it every chance I got. I hated the stock Dunlop tires it came with and switched them out for Metzlers which completely change the handling. The bike was fantastic in a straight line, but don't try to force it through twisty's too fast, it really didn't like that. I would describe it as a rocket powered steer when asked what it was like to ride it. Grab the bars and hold on but don't try to turn it. I used it to commute to work and with mostly freeway driving I could get almost 40mpg out of it, as long as I wasn't topping it out. I knew that around 100 miles I better be looking for fuel. That bike would pull the front wheel so easy, you really had to be on your game when it started lifting that front wheel. I miss that bike, I sold it in the mid 90's to a guy who kept bugging me to buy it.

There was only a 5 year difference between the two yet the Sabre feels much more modern. It's faster and smoother for sure. I do however very much miss the XS11 and it's classic look and feel. It had a ton of grunt and style. I think it's be like comparing a classic muscle car to a sports car. Both are great but give different feelings.

I called it my red-light bike; for synchronized redlights, you end up getting to the next one before it changes. I had to sell it as either i was going to die, get a reckless driving ticket or be in jail. That throttle is addictive. I loved my Max. I bought a V-Star and very disappointed, maybe just ruined from the Max.

So much Ferrari 308 / 328 from that angle. Oh my, they're both beauties. the AVS wind deflectors above each window allow cracking each window 2-3 inches and no rain gets inside. And they act like a visor. Can not stress enough to manage the cooling system yourself with Toy OEM long Life, changing each 40 k miles or so. Radiator fan clutch must not slip when motor is hot, and run the radiator plastic cowling top and bottom. And your temp gauge must be working, and you need quality oil with elevated zinc as these are 1980s designed motors, and to minimize cam wear.
