Anakin at his full potential would've been the most OP Jedi or Sith ever, so he easily destroys Bane. The funny thing is I just started reading the Revan book and I'm drawing the comparisons between Revan and Anakin rn.

It’s hard to say because had she stayed, Ahsoka would have been knighted and given her own clone trooper legion to command. So she might not have been there anyway. I think if she was there on Corucant even not as a Jedi, Anakin doesn’t turn because what really allowed that to happen was cutting him off from his support mechanisms. Obi was off fighting Grevious, Ahsoka fighting Maul, and there was sewing seeds of doubt as to Padme’s faithfulness. He was in possessive love with her but that was in the back of his mind, he was having thoughts of her betrayal that were brought on by his dabbling in the darkside and she was being untruthful about a meeting with Kenobi but that was about Anakin’s own well-being, also she was growing leery about what was going to happen with the war coming to a close. Palpatine wasn’t looking like he was going to give back the enormous responsibility he took on just “until the crisis has abated.” Moreover unlike most others Ahsoka was someone Anakin could talk to, a friend, she’d listen even if she didn’t like what he was saying. When he needed someone most only Palpatine was on Anakin’s “side.”

If Disney gave me the reigns to Star Wars, I would make a live action Vader show, a live action Plagueis movie, a Baylan and Shin spinoff set before Ahsoka, and I would just put Dave in charge and get Kk and leslie shitland out of there lol

It would be great to see Ewan as Obi-Wan again, but if there's going to be another season of the OWK series... is good writing too much to ask for? Season 1 was a mess that even Ewan & Hayden couldn't save.

This is definitely an interesting main point you make here It's interesting because Anakin himself likens Obi-Wan to a father in Episode 2, but he says it in a negative way. He's overbearing and holding Anakin back, in his eyes. But that's probably because even Anakin himself is acknowledging a father is what he needed, but, again, Obi-Wan sees them more like brothers, perhaps because Qui-Gon was the one who was supposed to train Anakin, and Obi-Wan views Qui-Gon as a father as well. Qui-Gon would have fully accepted the role and been a positive father figure to Anakin, whereas Obi-Wan is more like a brother who's taking the role of a father out of duty, out of a promise to Qui-Gon rather than of his own volition.

I sure do hope Ewan comes back, maybe not for obi wan s2, seeing as s1 wasn’t vary good, but something cool

My question is if both Qui Gon and Obi Wan are dead, what Jedi would advocate for Anakin to be trained? I wouldn’t think Yoda would, because he was against Anakin being trained in the first place, but with him having being bought by Qui Gon, I wonder if the Jedi might keep him at the temple anyways, and that might foster a relationship between him and Palpatine much sooner, palpatine offering to train him in the ways of the force (actually the dark side) from a much earlier point, having him rely on his emotions from the very start, nurturing the relationship with Padme from the beginning instead of it needing to be a secret, raising this apprentice like his own son right under the noses of the Jedi? Could be an interesting thought idk

I think it would be cool if the anakin/palpatine fight ends in a draw and it incites a cat and mouse chase between the two

I definitely agree Yoda would be more strict on Anakin’s relationship. (Something Kenobi was not strict on) and that would lead to bitterness against his master for sure and falling into Palpatine’s hands. However, I don’t know about Padme being convinced what he was doing was for the best. A dark side Anakin VS Palpatine would be so amazing to watch!

Vader is simply not ready to go up against Palpatine at this point. I believe he would lose. Bad. He is too unbalanced. I am of the opinion, that Vader would try and be patient enough to learn his “new powers” as he called them. Then once the time is right, and he learned more, he would attempt to overthrow Sidious, and succeed. Loved this what if idea!

Qui-Gon was definitely a better fit for training Anakin, as he saw his potential even as a child

I wonder how many of the people involved with this show (behind the cameras) are going to just quietly disavow any association with it. The writing was beyond abysmal, the acting was bad (and a lot of that was probably due to terrible direction as well,) the amount of money spent on the show didn't reflect in what we saw on-screen. I've seen bad shows and movies with the name "Star Wars" stamped on them, but The Acolyte actually seems like the first open display of disrespect for the franchise that it's a part of.
