Glad to see someone else who recognizes just how hard the cooked with Odd Future. Yeah, there are valid criticisms to be made over specific writing and worldbuilding decisions, and especially the pacing as we near the end, but overall, MHA is still a fantastic show that will rightly go down in Anime history.

Awesome reaction brother. As someone who didn't initially enjoy this show for various reasons at the beginning I can assure you it gets quite good eventually. The past few seasons have been really good. So good infact that I began reading the manga a while ago even which I usually almost never do!

As someone who's been a huge fan of HeroAca all the way since shortly after the manga first started publication back in like... gosh, 2015, I think? I would say that the start is a little generic and low-key in some ways, but it finds ways to take old tropes of the Shonen genre and put a new shine on them. Over time, the manga's creator Horikoshi Kouhei improves drastically in both art and storytelling. The series has its hiccups here and there, and I think there are slightly better Shonen, but it's like... if I'd give Jujutsu Kaisen or One Piece a 9, I'd give this a 7. It's not the zenith of all fiction or anything, but it is high up there. I also think it attracts a lot of hate because it has always had a fanbase that's primarily younger and makes fan content that gets demonized and mocked by adult fans of other Shonen. Some of the videos and fanart are a little cringy at times, but you know, teenagers are gonna be teenagers, and rather than teenagers making they goofy-ass TikToks, I'm much more troubled by adults bullying teenagers for making they goofy-ass TikToks. I also don't think that criticizing a series for having a fanbase that's a little too much sometimes is any way to approach a piece of media, and I also think a lot of people confuse being cynical and bitter for being insightful.

I started watching MHA in 2021and it has become my all time favorite anime. Because of my late start i didnt get into the fandom when it was at its hight, so i dont see the toxicity that people usually site as one of their main turn offs. Im sure it happened but i just cant vouch for it. What i can vouch for is the way this story is crafted so beautifully. Its a very character driven show, which is honestly my favorite kind. Every character is interesting and lovable (except one which im sure youve heard by now). Each arc is necissary. I think people fell off around the end of season 4 because of the tonal shift but it was necissary to make a commentary on the world this is set up in, and also to give the viewers a breath after a really dark arc (and another really dark arc afterword.) So if you just put a little trust in the show, that it has a plan, you can get through the later half of season 4 and the first half of season 5. Those are the two mid areas, everything else is emotionally wrecking. (Also keep in mind a lot of that was being created during pandemic times so 🙃🙃🙃) Please watch it! Its great, truely

Honestly, even though it'll be a long wait till the next season... It'll definitely be worth the wait. I haven't read the manga much but I do need to catch up on it, but I know the next arc is gonna be interesting.. I hope... 🤞 I'm glad you finally caught up on Demon Slayer after many months of reactions to it. Though, I will say when I first watched this episode I felt the same way and was crying the whole time while Nezuko was burning in the sun.. Thank goodness she's alright..😭

This animes amazing ive watched it 5 times already one my favs for sure its coming back may 4th with the 7th season. Just some clothing is revealing but still covers. Minata or the purple ball head kid is a perverted character because things he says mostly lol but nothing revealing in this show.

I've watched around 300 anime and MHA is one of my favorite anime of all time, being easily the closest to my heart. I think that the hate comes a lot from it breaking people's expectations of what a classic Shonen manga would be. But nearly everything that it does is VERY GOOD. It has some low moments, of course, but every series has them. Give it a watch, it's definitely one of the best modern shonen.

Becoming a Hashira is more of a skill requirement. While's Tanjiro's contribution and involvement has been very valuable, he is not yet Hashira level. Also defeating an Upper Moon cannot be a requirement, because as we have learned, no Upper Moon has been defeated in 113 years, but still we have so many Hashira.

Now I can't wait until the next season. I will stand by :)

I remember when I first saw this, my heart fucking stopped. I never expected this to happen but it all makes sense that it did. Such a good small arc yet people are shitting on it for some reason. I enjoyed this thoroughly. Edit: I think Nezuko can survive in the sun for the same reason that Tanjiro and others have the mark. It's the blood they carry. I'm not 100% sure on this, I don't read the manga so I have no clue, but the heavy emphasis on inherited memories and stuff like that from the swordsman that wielded the sun breathing against Muzan hundreds of years ago. He had the mark on him. So that got passed to the next generations through his blood. Sun breathing then "evolved" into all the different types of breathings and I think people who are descendants from this swordsman are able to wield any breathing better than non-descendants. That would explain why almost all the hashiras have had the mark appear. (Rengoku was a prodigy and probably didn't have the mark.) They were the descendants of the first swordsman, just like Tanjiro. If Tanjiro was also a descendant, then that must mean everyone else in his family were too. So that includes Nezuko as well. And it's probably because of the same blood that all the descendants carry, that she's able to survive in the sun. If you think about it, it's really obvious. Sun breathing being passed down and also being able to survive being in the sun if you were to be a demon all in the same bloodline? I think it makes sense. Or maybe I'm just rambling.

I'm surprised on how they managed to animate a Panic attack. We've seen him rage over innocent lives he didn't knew (To the point where a Demon was questioning if he's even human) and I can't even begin to imagine what kind of person Tanjiro would have become if he lost the last thing precious to him.

damn .. I can't watch demon slayer without crying no matter how many times T^T I advise you to catch up with JoJo since you already watched some a while ago & it has a huge fan base ... I remember you said you were kinda disappointed or didn't get what you expected from JoJo but I can say JoJo one of the few animes that gets better with every part & each part has it's own vibes which makes it so different from other anime while being a HUGE anime reference ... EVERYTHING IS JOJO REFERENCE HAHAHA ... even demon slayer lmao you'll realize once you get into it .. never forget to say it has a HUGE music references which I'm sure you as a musician going to enjoy it. another recommendation would be Hunter x Hunter :) ... have a nice day <3
