I give Don’t Wake Mummy 5 out of 5. The episode. I never read the story. Although I do mistake the title for The Mummy Walks.

Curse, mummy walks and who's your mummy have always been ones i really enjoyed. It could be related to them being one of first books from each series i read and giving good first impression, or maybe they were just so insane they appealed to me. Looking forward to reading the new one since it sounds pretty wacky too based on your review of it.

In other words most of the mummy books are around a 73 to an 85.

Every time I see a mummy I think of the Brendan Frazier movies lol

I only read the first two books so far, and I haven't read this one yet. And from my experience with the series is alright. I kinda see that the series is trying to be in the same level as the original series even since R.L. Stine drops the segments with the previous series. And well it seems like he's running out of ideas at this point, especially what happened with Goblin Monday... Overall, if one day if Stine retired. They should get creative writers. Although very unlikely. In the end, House Of Shivers is okay, but could've better writing.

Yess I freaking love this one. Definitely in my top 3 episodes. Fond memories watching this as a kid and never forgot the terrifying acid pool creature haha

I like both, but the, that ending!, what really happened next??..

This is one of my favorite episodes of the whole show, even that title, gives me, “The Shivers..”

This movie is the kid friendlier version of an adult novel called The Demon Seed which was also made into a film back in the 70s. It’s also a bit like the Robin Williams film Flubber. When the actors strike was happening, I remember people that I know talking about A.I. and how much Hollywood should or shouldn’t use it and some people were even scared that it would eventually overtake lots of jobs. In addition to that most of them kept bring-up Smart House as a good comparison to what could possibly happen. Just goes to show how deeply the movie effected people.

Both aren’t too shabby, I prefer the episode adaptation.

I actually liked this version better than the Adam Sandler version. My dad said I look like Seth. I hated his annoying little sister. I never realized what the consequences were for the remote were. But yeah I enjoyed Goosebumps’ Click.

I LOVED the bully character. "What a freak you are. What a loser you are." Pure genius and the bully put those losers in their place!

This felt like an old school RUclips throwback, the audio, visuals, aesthetic, topic, all of it. Great nostalgic feel. Good stuff completionist

It’s a pretty good atmosphere and vibes to this one, should make a good match for your vs’ with Perfect School, and it’s concept and theme is quite well drawn early on to keep us interested enough, with of course the exception of when they clearly ran low on the budget cash for the big ahem propstorisity reveal ending 😆

This reminds me of the two part Goosebumps episode The Perfect School. It’s also a bit like Stay Out Of The Basement. Also seems to be a bit like Invasion Of The Body Snatchers.

This is actually one of my favorite AYAOTD episodes. It very much feels like a Goosebumps story, and I could honestly see this being in a triple header book or a late series 2000 release if it were to have been under the Goosebumps brand.

Loved and seconded Completionist’s suggestion that they could have made a very good on going spin off type of thing with Zeke and Clorise becoming budding ghost hunters together. Even as the faces of their own tales as part of the tie in brand novels would have been cool. ‘The Adventures of Zeke & Clorise’ It’s surprising given the well deserved reputation that Hollywood didn’t take further note of this one’s true strengths in that regard. Would made equally a hell of a movie adaptation too. Also in agreement with HL that they stand pretty tall at the top of that short list of times I really felt they left a good crack at it with their ‘ships.’ The others for me of that note, (some of which having been covered already in these vs vids,) being the ones of the respective Tales of the Night Shift, Midnight Madness, Quiet Librarian, The Super Specs and Ghastly Grinner. Speaking of a certain Jay being in this, he had a couple of them himself of course, (guess there’s a reason that became a common theme in his career from Judd to Dragons lol,) I think in those later seasons, including particularly with the face of Carly Beth herself lol, which is like seeing one of your sports teams’ top players suddenly playing for the visiting player’s team in the annuals of Goose vs Are You general criss crossing weirdness 😆

Full disclosure, was very much prepared for you guys to let’s face it, make a ‘Shark’s Tale’ out of Pool Shark 😆 Incidentally I actually share HL’s discomfort with the great unknowns of the oceans depths and general nightmare fuel of any variation on drowning vs the other pick your grizzly death choices out there 😳
