I don't know about high speed chases. To me that looks like endangering bystanders. Is it really worth it? A drunken driver is a danger but "solving" that by chasing him high speed with several cars and using pit maneuvers does not sound like minimizing the thread to me.

Tonight I have watched 15 young black guys and 1 Mexican woman get arrested for speeding plus a large amount of other crimes and now I saw a young white girl for ths same stupid things, trying to out run a radio, how do these people expect not to get caught, really, alot of jail time , ruining there future lives. Where are these peoples parents, time out definitely does not work, they should of had my mother, all she had to do was give me that look, and I knew I was in deep trouble usually followed by a switch to my butt, I learned right from wrong, respect and how to be a good honest giving person
