It's a real shame that Soundcraft still have not fixed the bug whereby you cannot solo a matrix output - silence in the headphones. This has been a known issue since at least 2020, and Soundcraft have still not released a firmware with a fix for this bug.

Wow great video. My 2nd headphone channel blew out. Found two 4580 ic’s smoked on the headphone jack pcb. Swapped them out and now it’s passing signal but it’s crackling noise. Any chance of a schematic for that section?

Example: i have 10 input channels recording on my PC via DAW [CH1-10] . i want to listen my PC to the LR of the Mixer, the L on channel [example] 20 and R on 21 . how to set up the mixer and daw? I d like to listen my PC post-processing from the LR speakers, or simply (another example) i d like to listen my PC audio (youtube) on LR mixer via USB instead of using a stereo cable from PC jack to 2 phisical mixer channels. Any help?

USB is very finicky, even touching the data lines can crash the computer, even the USB pins of the plug have the power pins that are longer so power is applied first, you just cant go and try and use a simple switch it wont work

I never had a problem with the wifi on any Soundcraft mixer, first Ui12 and especially now with the Ui24R. I understand people probably had some problems when placing them on the stage and then going 10 to 20 meters away to mix, sure but when on the stage with me there is absolutely zero problems with the integrated WiFi.

Too bad they gave the sidechain only for groups, so not possible to make this for the AUX sends. I like this mixer a lot, but this and adding PEQ on masters is what would make it perfect.

Hey, finally i got an answer for my USB Issue i had when i was touring with my ui24r with a berlin based band through russia, belarus and ukrain in 2019... all of a sudden the usb B I/F was stopping to work.. the only work around was to switch the ui24 off and on again... so i checked and i bought my ui24 in okt2017 .. so as you said there has been early modules that are missing a protection capacitor on the usb bord and i recognized those issues in extreme live situations... is there a chance to get some help to install that missing capacitor by myself as long as the bord doesnt seem to burn down any other parts so far ? beside that issue with the usb B that nice pice of gear just worked awesome in the last years. would just love to trust the USB B port again if possible. cheers from berlin

UI24r doesn't work with USB cable! Doesn't work to record with a DAW for example... Working in USB daw for 30 seconds and having to restart to get the computer audio workingback, means it doesn't work. Unless I use a 1,5 meter USB cable...

I created a 16 channel hardware interface for my drummer, so that he can change his in ear monitoring with some potis nad not having to use a tablet. Arduino uno and a 16 Channel multiplexer. It is a bit tricky to find the commands that are needed in the endless list of commands that are rooling in at the start, but once you got it, works like a charme. ai acheté le boitier Behringer Powerplay PM1 que je branche sur ma sortie aux 1 de mon boitier Soundcraft UI24R . Je contrôle tout cela avec mon Ipad. Ce boitier est connecté sur l auxiliaire outputs 1 ( qui en compte 8 ) par un câble XLR De la je connecte mon casque ou mes oreillettes in- ears. mon grand problème c est que je n entend qu une oreille. Je récupère bien sur mon volume désiré sur la fonction auxsends. Pourriez vous me dire quel manipulation dois je faire pour entendre les deux canaux.

Hey can i ask u a question? So i run my plugin via live professor for the VST Host. When i setup the input it works, but when i setup the output it's not work i mean there is no signal come into my mixer. I already change my patching input via DAW. Any idea? Thank you

Hello sir I just brought ui12 and I want to use aux out as a in ear monitor and I also brought behringer pm1 but aux out signal goes to only left headphone not right side I checked everywhere to not doing pan left side and I didn't but when I checked master output it's hear left and right If you have any solution please let me know Thank you for advance

Just to clarify, pink noise is played though the speakers and channel 3 is actually the measuring microphone.

Really Need just discovered this from a post on Reddit. It's really too bad it can't be powered from either end I could see it being stuck in a rack next to the mixer with the power brick but I'm guessing that design doesn't allow powering it from the other end. This would also make an interesting POE Dante endpoint. But I'm thinking both of those would require a revision and or new version.

I am surprised that you did not mention the antenna breaking off as both of mine have they seem so fragile, I may have to rely on a router`s antenna. thanks for the detailed video. Regards. Gus

Great Video, both my antennas came off and wifi is a bit weak, would you know if this affects USB Flash I can view the UI24R on my ipad but when I place a USB stick in the port nothing happens, would this work if I upgraded the to the latest driver/firmware? Thanks. Gus
