Bullshit its not achievable healthily.. thats a POOR excuse.... like, literally, fk all money POOR
I usually advice employing these techniques. why? its the easiest way to train hard enough at the same time..save some time. The more time you spend recovering the better
Huberman is a crook
Can I start with 1000mg 200:1 extract
Linking higher screen time to ahtletic performance could be a really interesting study. Great video George!
It’s shit
Test is best.
It would be interesting to see what happens when you come off of Test. There's so much info on the short term gains but not as much on long term gains
Yeah, it’s not even really a question, more test, or just roids in general, can’t be beat naturally, it’s just health concerns that stop 100% of people taking them
This was surprisingly straightforward. Thanks 🙏
I’m glad you think so 🙌
Without using roids and using roids remember you gotta say the “oh shit effects” of doing them stuff I believe test your body stops producing your natural testosterone so yeah guys more like kids please don’t
So, without any testicles
Plot twist: the Say-line solution increases performance because of the sodium
Your tendons and ligaments take 3x as long to grow and strengthen. You shouldn't progress anything till 3 months in. Ideally focusing on higher volume because the increased blood flow and water retention will help the tendons to heal and grow faster. Because, if you don't, and you tear something, you are out for three weeks minimum till you can do lighter loads. Worse, you develop inflammation and that is hell on earth, because you will have pain in the joint 24/7.
the test+no exercise would probably quickly increase results by simply improving technique
Just started TRT, excited to feel more “normal” and get back in the swing of the gym. I’m only on 100mg a week though.
Good stuff! Sounds like it can make a pretty drastic difference to someone who needs it
Was this all males or did you test the kunts too?
uh just look at a woman and a man. one has a lot of testo. the other one can bench 15 kilos
Don’t mean to brag but I can bench 15 kilos
Kinda crazy i would rather lift and not take shit its the mentality that changes your life not the gains
Training without a proper regeneration is less effective and if you cross the red line, it starts to be counterproductive. Human body is not a machine and needs a balance.

If you take testosterone you will lose the ability to generate it on your own. Unless your doctor tells you to do so DO NOT TAKE TESTOSTERONE!!
I don’t think many people would disagree with you..
You intial statement is fundamentally flawed. But I agree with the point (I think) you're trying to make.
@@daniellove7337 I’m not arguing that intensity isn’t important - but pushing to true failure doesn’t seem to confer any additional benefits than just training with a high intensity
Dr. Mike says to go till failure for size. Technique is a big part too but it's all of it together
@@cali-pa8873 99% sure Dr Mike is against going to true failure, especially on a regular basis. This is particularly important for newbies, also.
Do we have pictures of the physiques afterwards?
You just gotta remember to tell your muscles it's free weights. I say, "I'm doing the barbell bench press," as I go to the machine press. If the muscles know you're using a machine, they won't grow at all.
I believe you on this, but I also feel like training with free weights gives you a stability and balance workout, which you don’t get from machines. You activate muscles for keeping the weight as stable as possible, but on machines the weights are already in a locked and stable position. I don’t know how much this matters, but I feel my arms have gotten more stable from free weight training. Personally I do train with both tho. I like mixing up a lot. I think a little variation in what machines and weights you use won’t hurt
That’s fair enough - and I can’t argue with your personal experience! I do think though that for newbies purely looking for muscle hypertrophy, machines might have certain advantages: easier to control technique every time, stability/safety, less intimidating.
@@georgesworkouts I can’t argue with that either. The fixed position and stability of the machines can be a benefit at times. It does make it a lot easier to load more weight than you would be able to on a bench, without risking injury and needing a spotter. Definitely makes it goated for newbies and for pure hypertrophy in general. But I wouldn’t neglect the free weights completely no matter how much experience you have. A couple sets of free weights a week (don’t even need to be that heavy) will help your stability a lot I think
Machines eliminate any of the typical instabilities you would get out of most free weight movements. With machines, you can put a lot more focus on the targeted muscle in order for muscular hypertrophy to take place more effectively.
Which is definitely a good thing for newbies!
People who train with free weights have a way stronger core and are more athletic
stfu mr get all your information from mario rios
thats not true at all. people who train with machines can just train core separately and do other athletic movements 😭
I actually think it could be the opposite - there’s a surprising amount of bracing needed for movements like a machine row, machine preacher curl etc.
Not really
Holy shit it's John Pork
I have a study here that says youre an idiot
There ain’t no way you can do the same weight on a machine than free weights
Did you listen at all?
@@sirisaacedgelord6733he did not 💀
Correct, but I don’t think that’s particularly relevant. Hypertrophy is hypertrophy, regardless of how you get there..
And yet, the study also says the people who trained free weights were stronger on free weight movements. I can't remember the last time ive seen someone trying to get very strong on leg extensions, but on squat, bench and deadlifts? Almost like there's an entire sport based on it...
He’s talking about general strength not strength on specific movements. Also im pretty sure this applies to compound movement machines like leg press, machine chest press, pull down, etc. not isolation exercises
Well specificity is critical when it comes to training, you obviously get better a the specific movements you train
Yes - those who with trained free weights got stronger on those movements, and vice versa for machines. But when they looked at general strength and muscle mass (which I would think is what most people care about) - there was no major difference.
What?
@@ayaanzaman5699 what?
Hey George, really enjoy your channel! I am newly back to the gym (used to be pretty consistent pre COVID) and your tips definitely help! What I think seems to be missing from the fitness world in general is someone actually breaking down the muscle groups which should be trained/the heads of each muscle/what exercises target these and how to actually make a structured workout plan!!! I think what I struggle most with is knowing I should have a plan, but what should that even consist of/how do I know I’m working the right muscle groups?! I know people say get a PT but I’d like to learn it for myself, is this something you could make some content about??
@@seangray6708 love this idea! I’ll add it to the list.. definitely an area that isn’t super clear to people
I actually suggest newbies do calisthenics since I've noticed most new people are more worried about appearing weak or inexperienced. If you can crank out some pushups and squats you can go into the gym with less percieved embarassement. Your starting routine does seem perfect though.

Are the people on the higher protein diet exercising
Both groups were doing the same training programme!
so sleep helps you lose weight or helps you gain weight?
Adequate sleep helps you lose a greater proportion of fat than muscle, this study found!
I want to also say, that these individuals were also exercising during the study. Most likely muscle building.
I do not understand "they were 56% percent of their weight loss came from their fat"
Yes. The rest of the weight loss came from other sources, which was primarily water weight and muscle mass.
Maybe it had nothing to do with sleep and more about food and exercise
@Monkeyking-yh7sq yeah, 10 people is a very low sample size, you need atleast 100 for it to be accurate
Pasta and lemonade.
Sorry
Was this supposed to be something crazy? Cause yeah no fucking shit
So keep working out, maintain protein intake and get enough sleep.
@@MustardSkaven those are the big levers. But specifically weight training, cardio won’t cut it.
@@georgesworkouts Cardio isn't really needed for fat loss anyway. Although it's still healthy, people should still do cardio, but if people think some cardio is going to give them massive fat loss, they are better off looking at diet.
Okey, lets say you are correct, would you live longer and have more energy when older or not. Also what is the limitation of the research of the papers you got this from, like from whom at what age to what age was within the groups of these, and when was their heatlth test taken as well.
If you have more muscle mass and greater muscle quality, yes. You will have a greater level of physical function and *most likely* greater subjective energy levels than someone who has low muscle mass. Answering your second question - it is a fairly life long association.
