great!
Super. Thanks for posting this. I am aware of Randalu from ECM and first heard Petros in Oded Tzur's band also on ECM. Terrific music.
@@richardthurston2171 you’re very welcome! 😎
Here is Tony Lakatos on the saxophone not the Alexander Pischikov . Alexander is on Part One .
WTF ? It is a great Sasha Pischikov on tenor sax ( aka Alexander Pischikov and aka Alexander Pi ) .
Great ❤
Great music! Thank you, Victor, for letting us share.
Hey, Victor's Places! Thank you so much for sharing this--I can never get too much of Bill Frisell. Could you identify the other two wonderful musicians in his trio?
I love the heart but who are the other two musicians in the trio?
Notalar bir nehrin akışı gibi akıp gidiyor adeta.Müthiş performans.Tebrikler.👏👏👏👏♥️♥️♥️♥️🐞💐🦋
🙏
Great recording. But can't you mention the players in the band?
A great "Footprints", indeed. Awesome.
This is a brilliant trio of jazz alchemists working and playing to create sound magic in the spirit of Pandit Paul Motian.
It's not music but a slow suicide...
I love Thomas Morgan: always plays contrapuntally to The guitar.
This looks recent: just saw them last April at Freight and Salvage. Love “Holiday” @ 4:52

To me, a great artist is one you recognize from the first note. You knew Miles. You knew Coltrane. You knew Abercrombie. You knew Jim Hall. You know Scofield. They have a sound and approach that defines them. Frisell is that way. I don't have to watch a video to know it is him; it is wrapped up in his tone (that R&B and Country feel will always be there), how he uses space and time, and the material he chooses to tackle.
true!! greats have THEIR sound. dont mind technique. we recognize a great one from the notes he's playin. they are unique. problem is when you copy a great one you have same sound.lol ciao from italy
You missed Marc Ribot. (I’m sure it was just a temporary oversight).
Bill’s music is a true treasure. We caught the Harmony tour in a very small venue about a week before the pandemic blew up in early 2020, and that show was just other worldly. For those who haven’t seen him live, please do so at your earliest convenience and you will NOT be disappointed!
Own world. Not easy to establish. Courage.
encatado...
He's got the coolest guitars
There are times when this music is absolutely genius, other times absolutely laughable. Weird.
genial
Excellent.
Superb!
love this!!!!!!!!
I've heard of this bloke - and the others, too… it is great oh yes
The word "Master" gets thrown around too liberally for my liking but Bill is absolutely a true Master of the guitar. He is indeed a treasure.
Excellent music. Also, worst possible sponsor to interrupt the music at random. I mean, come on, a cartoon figure with a nasally voice?. Rude!
great performance!
W O N D E R F U L !
Jewzz muzak
What a tone!
remember Frisell in a lot of records expecially ECM record of BASS DESIRES with M. johnson and JScofield.an incredible recording sound and a Frisell passionate And psychedelic with Synth guitar, together with a great Sco,what a solo in resolution, powerful johnson. and the perfect Erskine. ciao from Italy!
This music is high emotional full of intensity
What a wonderful recording with BASS DESIRES!!
@@gaizkasalazar6948 the best solo ever heard from sco!!
this is fire!
ELITE MAN on the work ❤
Thank you for this gift ❤
Remember Frisell with Naked City. The man can play anything and play it like no one else. Genius!
From Leng Tch'e to the Paul Motian trio...
I may have missed it somewhere, but when was this recorded? Stunningly beautiful!
9th of May, 2024. ZigZag club 😎
@@VictorVoytov Excellent! Thanks much! It is good to see that this phenomenal trio is presently touring!
@@VictorVoytov But this is obviously not ZigZag Jazz Club. Where was it recorded?
Thanks for thiis Victor! High quality audio and video.
You’re the best Julia 🥰
Bass sounds ace
You’re just copying what others have said lmao. You wouldn’t even notice
Merveilleux, merci!
Amazing recording. What a great trio!
We're of the same opinion! Stay with us 😎
Strange that you don’t mention the drummer or bassist in the description 🤷♂️
Looks like OP only responds if you tell them how good the recording is lol
Thomas Morgan on bass Rudy Royston on drums
@@luxewav Thanks!
A great concert! Thanks for the upload.
Definitely not Tony Lakatos, as the bulrb says. A very tenor however!
Sorry for the typos! ... the blurb ... And: Very good tenor ...
@@JuergenQuetz It's the best former Russian saxophonist Alexander Pischikov , aka Alexander Pi .
@@moskvorezkazza1234 Thanks a lot!
Божественно!
Once I've asked a young trained and talented guitar player who his favorite player would be. He didn't hesitate: ""Bill Frisell". That was when I started looking (listening) and paying attention.
He's unbeleivable! 😎
Few people really speaks only what they should , no nonsense..few words and phrases to the point..for me they are Lee konitz (saxophonist) bill frisell and rale micic ..(guitarist)
Dont forget Lage Lund!
There are two other musicians too! I can see them! Why aren't them mentioned on the top? What are their names?
Rudy Royston, drums. Thomas Morgan, bass. Basically Bill's trio for the past decade. Both just sensitive as can be. Rudy Royston is probably my favorite drummer today. And that's with Chris Dave, Mark Guiliana, Brian Blade, and a _bunch_ of heavy cats.
