Kinsmen Kart Track - Full Session POV
Getting much more comfortable with the kart and pushing my limits. A bit more seat time before I start experimenting with setup. I had been struggling with insane arm pumps which turned out to be caused by a bent steering column. Swapped that out and I felt so much better without the unnecessary fatigue caused by fighting the kart all day. Max Funs

Prairie City Kart Track - My New Favorite
Просмотров 2382 месяца назад
Finally got around to driving Prairie City and boy was it physical. 4 sessions was all I could handle as I was exhausted by the end of the last one. Nonetheless, had an absolute blast trying to learn this track and nailing my lines. I was having an issue with some bogging out of low speed corners and I think it's a combination of my low speed jetting and gearing. I'll have to come up a tooth or...
Kinsmen Kart Track - Pushing My Limits... And Finding Them: Full Session

First time out to Kinsmen Kart Track in Dixon and it was an absolute blast. While it may seem like a straightforward layout, every turn requires a different method of approach as they are all slightly different. This makes it a bit tricky to laydown a good lap but thats what makes it so fun. I particularly struggled with the tight hairpin before going onto the straight. I attempted many differe...
Buttonwillow Kart Track - First Time Out In A Proper Kart
Просмотров 1003 месяца назад
First time out in my recently purchased kart (KA100 Birel RY30-S9) and am I addicted. Buttonwillow was a very bumpy track and and physically taxing. Setup felt balanced and gear ratio seemed spot on. Tire pressures were probably a bit high. I’ll have to re visit setup once I actually know what I’m doing. Re-watching the footage has me eager to get back on track and fix all the mistakes I was ma...

2012 Porsche Cayman R - Driving Around Town

Drivability showcase of my 3.8 swapped Porsche Cayman R. A few things worth noting, the roads where I live are horrible so NVH is much more noticeable but the car handles it very well. Also, not sure why the GoPro picked up so much of the shifting and foot pedal noise, it’s really exaggerated. The car is a dream to drive, especially on a smooth road.

3.8 Swapped Porsche Cayman R + Capristo Full Header Back Exhaust + Backroad Fun

The sounds this car makes are absolutely intoxicating. This may be the only 997.2 3.8 engine paired with this exhaust system as it was a custom solution, taking the full header back, valved exhaust off my 3.4 and custom fitting it to the new engine. It just screams up until redline and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Feels so good to be back on track after over a year without seat time. Huge thanks to @joemracing for the coaching and tips which helped me get back into the swing of things quicker. Joe took me out for a couple of laps to give me an idea of what the limit and balance of the car is like and his experience really showed. The RS4s are a familiar tire to me but the amount of mechanical grip this c...

Where did you get the front bumper and rear wing from please. Looks amazing.
Nice what can I say, owner of a 987 but the R is a dream for me.
Prairie City Kart Track - if you can be competitive here, you can be competitive anywhere.
Very cool, where’d you get that front bumper?
Wow!!
Wow!
Looking good
What’s your record
100th subscriber, can't wait to see more of this porsche haha just kidding i bought it.
can someone explaing what is the method to build a hood scoop vent like the main that subaru has?
Wow great video! Love all the mods...what is the exhaust? Sounds smoother than mine but a bit quieter.
Capristo full header back !
💋 Promo-SM
Sounds great! Almost GT3! Are the headers catless?
Sport Cats!
Nice! I’m thinking of doing a similar build eventually. If you don’t mind me asking, around what was the total cost of the build? Not including the car
@@possiblewhiteguyover 100k not including the car
@@ehpracing518 Considering you can find 3.8L 997 engines for $10-15k on the used market. $80-90k in labor and exhaust costs seems wild.
@@possiblewhiteguy 100k is including everything done to the car. Engine, suspension, body, etc etc. The engine swap ran ~45k alone.
looks awesome! front bumper grill and wing still give like an OEM look.....very tasteful...
Nice! Got the 2006 boxster S ! Aloha from Hawaii, gotta have the convertible!
Pure car porn!
Man this makes me miss my 987
These look like verus engineering Louvers i just installed them
Seems like a hackjob 🤔
Damn I want these
Fully mask your paint to protect your hood... nice work.
that is easy HP added
That's 200HP added by each vent.
Summit and kn stickers will at least 12hp........... EACH
What happen if raining?
Nothing. Modern cars are designed to handle water in the engine bay. Plus, the vents sit in a spot where water wouldn't damage anything. I drove in the rain and let the car sit outside all the time as have other customers without problems
Aren't the louvres supposed to be facing the opposite direction?
nope! if facing the other way that would be letting air into the engine bay. The point is to allow heat to escape.
You still make these??
message Aletheia Motorsports for more information
that looks like alot of water will go in there if raining or washing the car
water does find its way in but its no harm. Especially when driving most of it is evaporated anyway.
A company should bring these out with closeable vents for winter.
Winter is the best time to have air vents... Even more cool air entering the engine bay/allowing hot air to escape. We literally have big ole hood scoops on the top.
@@MyNameisStorm you stole my reply
Anyone know if you can get fake vents that stick on to the hood? I just think they look very nice and I really don’t want to cut my hood or do anything that I can’t go back on.
Yes, ebay has a lot of stick on hood vents.
Where do u buy them vents from
Shane Loats message me on Instagram @tangerine_sti
Where you get those vents from, love them!!!???
Steven Rivera message me on Instagram @tangerine_sti
EHP Racing whete do you get those vents ?
Miguel Lim i make them. Message me on Instagram at EHP Racing
Crazy how slick Laguna is in the rain. Quickest I ran on a rain session in the S3 was a 2:10.01
Blake's Garage dude I know! I was on 300tw summers and the thing did not grip at all
Eric Preciado yeah I was on 100tw Nitto NT01 in the rain fun to say the least.
So when it rains does it just go in the engine bay?
Kevin Almaraz been driving in the rain for a year with no problems! Plenty of cars come with hood vents from factory 👍🏻
We have hood scoops already... that rain just goes straight into the engine bay and evaporates..
@@MyNameisStorm I would love to get some of those events can you let me know how I can please
Installing mine today!
How those federal st1 felt? Are they good?
they did really well!
Your driving line is not bad bro! Way to go!!
