In lap 4 I realized my fuel tank level was to low. So the engine got no fuel in right corners, that's the reason I stoped hunting the GTR and was waited for my brother. (yellow EP3)

First ride with the MX-3 in 2024. A little bit slow, but I have to get used to the car again after 4 months break. 😅 The gear ratio is definitely too taal for touge. I'm thinking about installing a shorter gearbox again. 🤔 This course is half way uphill and then downhill. The height difference doesn't come across that way in the video.

@@ZeoRyu yes :) are they all KLZE? I built one wayyyy back in the day and parts were hard to come by back then
@@CQ4043 the one in front of me is from a friend, it has a hybrid ZE. So DE 9,2:1 pistons but ZE heads and ZE curvedneck intake manifold. The other red one is from my girlfriend and has a KLZE. I swaped my first ZE back in 2010. Now it's way harder to get ZE engines or parts.
What'd you do on it? I have a 525d from 2010 that's also a 3L.
@@tonson5214 only Software, dpf and egr off. My tuner said the 25d is different, but I'm not sure if all 25d are different or only the 197hp version. It has smaller intake ports and there was something else, he told me.

@@justinbrinkmann885 hätte laut GPS mal 252 gemessen, habs aber auch erst einmal getestet. Er wird aber über 220 schon träge, ich denke weil es ein Schalter ist und die Drehzahl dann so hoch ist dass die Leistung abfällt. Hatte eigentlich auch erwartet das obenrum noch mehr kommt, weil 100-200 ist eigentlich eine recht ordentliche Zeit.

@@steveschlicke344 ja die ZEs gab es nur in Japan. Früher hat man die noch beim Impoteur bekommen, aber selbst da bekommt man kaum noch welche. Hab meinen damals von jdmparts.nl geholt und weitere hab ich von privat gekauft wenn ich mal welche gefunden habe.
Ich freu mich schon mega drauf die ganzen Fortschritte und natürlich das Endergebnis irgendwann zu sehen! ⭐

@@666doridori auch nicht schlecht. Ich hatte am Sonntag das Gefühl das die Strecke deutlich langsamer war. Bin da leider nur 10min gefahren. Aber ich glaube das ganze Gummi vom driften und dadurch dieses gehoppel in den Kurven hat einen schon langsamer gemacht. Bin am Sonntag nämlich auch deutlich langsamer gewesen.

@@xyz2url14 I think 300-320hp. I had it at the dyno and it measured 350hp, but thats impossible. Its the stock ECU, stock fuel pump and stock turbo.

@@syri9637 hab mit dragy ein paar Messungen gemacht aber keine die legitim war, weil entweder das Gefälle über 1% war oder zu wenig Satelliten vorhanden waren. Aber die Zeit liegt korrigiert bei etwas über 15sek. Mal schauen ob ich noch eine geeignete Strecke finde wo ich das mehrere Messungen als Vergleich machen kann. Hab inzwischen aber auch ein größeren LLK drin, allerdings ohne Softwareanpassung.
I loved your previous video and I love this one to finally got an mx-3 V6 again but it is so rusty right now that needs to be fixed first before it is road worthy again keep on enjoying your mx-3 it's a beautiful piece of machinery!!! Btw thanks for the tip for the shorter shifter link about a year ago!

@@syri9637 DPF raus, Kat noch drin, AGR raus und da wo das Ventil sitzt ein Rohr rein für besseren Flow in der Ansaugung, ansonsten nur Software von AS Performance.
You need to downshift more you loose too much time waiting for the engine to climb rpm on corner exist
@@andredesousa96 yes I know. The gearbox has to taal gearratio for the most racetracks. If I downshift to second gear, the rpm is so high, I have to shift up a second later. But I think first corner and the left in the middle of the track is good for second gear. Next time I will try it. Maybe I have more power in mid range until the next run in Zandvoort. I have to say, this was my all first lap at Zandvoort this year.

It's my girlfriends MX-3. Mazdaspeed frontbumper, oem mazda sideskirts, the rearbumper is removed by an oem with mudflaps now. Maybe I upload a sound videos of her car, where you can see the whole car.

Thanks mate. I'm not sure. I did a GPS measuring with my mobil phone and it show 4,0sec. But I can't believe it. I think 4,5sec is realistic. Stock is 5,3sec.

@@まるさん-e2i yes, I think the MR-2 is a underated car. My MR-2 has only bolt ons and running 100-200kmh in 10,2sek measured with a 10Hz GPS box. A Skyline GT-R needs more than 400hp for a time like that. I own a R32 GT-R too and I know, it needs upgrade turbos to make more than 400hp. The 0-100kmh time of the MR-2 is very fast too. There are some 300+hp 4wd cars which are slower. I love the MR-2, but it had an accident a few years ago and the bodyshop did a bad job, so the cars is still apart and needs front repair. 😢

MY OLD MX-3 PULLED LIKE THAT WITH A MPH DASH
300hp and 7.5l/100km that was insane
7,5 is max average in summer. Includes 7km drive to work. When I don't have to drive to work its ~7l. My best consumption was 5,3l when I drove 300km to the beach in Netherlands. Not to forget with 245/275 tires and 19" wheels.

Hello , what mods did you make to get 300+hp ? And 700nn ? I mean you have a 530d 2006 right ? Because here a tuning house called BR performance only offers to get you to 280hp and 600nm
530d from 2008. 235hp stock. Its only dpf delete and software. The tuner promised 300hp/650Nm. Dyno shows 307hp/713Nm.

It has the 2,5l V6 KLZE, so it has almost 200hp. But in this video I had a passenger, you definitely can feel the extra weight in acceleration. If you watch my MX-3 build videos, you can see all the modifications I done.

Awesome video bro Was gomna buy a mr2 3sg non turbo automatic cause they going very cheap where i live just as a daily it has manu and pwr mode what are the benifits of that and would it be worth manul swaping i heard the turbos chew alot of gas
Thx mate. I would never recommend an automatic. Even my daily BMW 3l diesel is a manual because I hate automatics. 😅 The 3S Turbo has a very good gas consumption. I have a consumption of around 10l/100km. My records at the autobahn was 8,6l/100km. So I think its not higher the the 3S non turbo, only if you boost all the time.

@@Janawhitej1 Speaking as a guy who had an NA 175HP 3S GE and still have a 430hp turbo since 2008. Petrol consumpion is negligible if you're off boost Depending on which country you are in, It's just easier just to get a turbo

If you think about it, it will make slower. All the years I'm driving at night at the touge courses here, I only had one day with deers at the streets.

how did u fit 300mm discs on 323v6 knuckles? adapter of sort or?
I wanted to keep my wheels, so I had go again with 4x100 hub. I used the mx3 hub in the 323 knuckle. The discs are from a Renault Scenic with 4x100. I just had to make an adapter center ring.
If you go with 5x114,3 its way easier. You can use the Mazda 6 disc pnp.
@@ZeoRyu same problem. wanted to keep my rims so i fited 4x100 hubs onto v6 knuckles. miata (gen 2) 270mm disc fits but there is now a 1-2 mm overlap b-pads above disc. this was done on 1.5 becouse original brakes are tragic. i also got v6 rear bridge vith hubs and calipers wich will be mounted soon. i think im gonna grind 1-2 mm off the b-pads and leave it like that. braking is so much better with 270mm over 235mm and with v6 calipers

People under estimate that KL-DE and KL-ZE engine I had alot of people or tuners get owned by a boosted KL engine anyway still my favorite V6to this today thanks for the post bro 💪💪💪

I bought my KLZE over ten years ago from jdmparts.nl. And I bought another one fron privat, which comes from a MX-3 spare car.

Was gabs für Probleme bei dem Umbau von 1,8 auf 2,5 Liter? Und was war das Problem das der Motor im letzten Video kaputt ging ?
Beim Umbau gabs keine Probleme, nur der Motor der mir verkauft wurde war Schrott. Klang von Anfang an nichz gesund und nach nem Monat hat der dann den Geist aufgegeben mit einem metallischen quietschen. Denke entweder Kolbenkipper oder Lagerschaden. Hab den Motor nie zerlegt, da ich damals noch nicht so viel Ahnung davon hatte. Der neue Motor hätte irgendwann gebrochen Ventilfederteller. Ist eine typische ZE Krankheit. Hatte das Problem insgesamt 3 mal, beim ersten mal waren sogar 3 gebrochen, aber es ist nichts passiert. Danach die beiden Male ist das Ventil in den Brennraum gefallen. Es wird behauptet das kommt weil die ZE Ventilfedern zu schwach sind. Deswegen habe ich auch inzwischen die verstärkten Federn drin.
Ok danke für die Info. Und sonst beim Umbau, war das einfach vom 1,8 auf den 2,5? Ist fast Plug and play oder
@@FloMX-3 wenn du ein V6 PFL hast und einen ZE Curvedneck rein baust, dann ist es wirklich PnP. Kannst auch alles vom K8 übernehmen, Zündverteiler, LMM, Getriebe usw.
Hab bisher nirgends n ZE gefunden leider, hast du da n Tipp irgendwie ?
@@FloMX-3 ist inzwischen wirklich schwer einen zu bekommen. Bei ebaykleinanzeigen wird einer angeboten für einen übertriebenen Preis. Du könntest mal bei jdmparts.nl anfragen, da hab ich schon 2 Motoren gekauft und ein 3. den ich zurück gegeben habe weil es kein echter ZE war. Also du solltest dir vorher aufjedenfall im klaren sein woran genau du einen echten ZE erkennst. Andere Option wäre ein Xedos 9 Motor mit KL31 Zylinderköpfen. Der steht dem ZE kaum in etwas nach außer die geringere Verdichtung, aber davon merkt man in der Leistung kaum was. Allerdings auch sehr schwer zu finden die Motoren.
