But just careful when you heat them up, you don’t want too wreck the plastic lens. You can use the oven (low heat) or a heat gun (takes longer but still works)

    • @yamacrazy
      @yamacrazy 11 месяцев назад

      Not 100% sure. I sold it a while ago, but I’ve got a pretty good feeling it was fuel tank/furl pump related. Fuel tank related because on the bottom of the tank where the pump is located, there was a whole bunch of silicone, so I don’t think the tank was venting properly which was causing an air lock in the system (starving the pump for fuel). Or the fuel pump was malfunctioning every now and then. But I’m not 100% sure buddy, sorry.

    Try swaping ingition coils between running and non running cylinders. See if this helps for that cylinder. Maybe there is no spark in that cylinder, check it, its simple. Crack is outside, leaking coolant outside is another problem. @yamacrazy my boots that hold the carb to the head leaked on me. I'm hoping this money pit runs before it kills me. Also a heads up about 3mm is a good set for the floats

      @@jonathanspencer8305 got mine fixed. It was a vacuum hose that ran from the top of the airbox that was missing. I was able to ride it at 100 mph after that and then sold it.

    I'm thinking of swapping out the front turn signal lights on my 2013 M50 with a pair of LED ones. Did you ever figure out why it stopped blinking?

    • @yamacrazy
      @yamacrazy Год назад

      I’m more then positive it’s because the entire lighting system is setup for halogens, not leds. If I’m wrong, then I have no idea. It’s frustrating though, because I’ve tried a few things and nothing worked.

      Dang, that sucks. I currently have LED rear lights that work perfectly and was hoping to do the same with the front ones.

      @yamacrazy Год назад

      Ya I did the same. I have full leds on the front and back, but the fronts are not wired in anymore as markers, just signals because as seen in the video, it doesn’t work.

      That didn’t fix the problem, I think it’s my fuel pump that’s giving me the stalling issue. But I also found out my block is cracked…

      @@blackops2376 sounds like a fuel pump. I think that’s what my issue is. Once it’s spring here and the roads clear of snow (probably another month, I’ll start working on it again and I’ll post a video. But it sounds like your having fuel pump issues. That’s a very easy, minor and cheap fix. As long as your getting full voltage when it’s running (use a multimeter) and fuel in your tank, if it’s stifling like that, sounds like a fuel pump.

    • @yamacrazy

      @@blackops2376 if you have a multimeter, charge your battery and check your voltage before starting it, make sure it’s got minimum 12v. Start it and check it again, it should keep a consistent 12-14v. If your stator is not charging the battery properly or you have a bad battery, it could be stalling due to power issues. But make sure you’ve got clean gas and a clean fuel filter, a dirty filter could cause fuel issues. And foremost, before starting your bike, turn the key to the on position and make sure the kill switch is off, listen to the fuel pump and see if it primes, if it does not prime immediately, I’d say your fuel pump is shot. If it primes but then you all of a sudden lose power in the next few seconds/minutes, I’d still stay it’s your fuel pump. When you start the bike, have your tank lifted up and watch the fuel filter, if there is fuel running through it when it dies, it’s not your fuel pump, but if it dies and your filter has no fuel (after it’s primed itself) then your fuel pump is not working properly.
