I’ve been having the thought that if the best strat for the cores is to put them on the very right, then the crit core is just strictly better than The Core and The Weaponized Core since those two have zero benefit over the crit core in that instance. In fact, I’d say that while The Weaponized Core is not the worst core since shielded is probably still worse or most likely the companion core in this specific patch, it’s easily the one that is the least thought out mechanics wise because I genuinely can’t think of an instance where I’d rather a weapon be buffed by it than just charging the core. I’ve tried before with certain items that have high damage but long cooldowns - think cyber security- but it’s just super underwhelming. The Core has niche instances where, like cyber security for instance, there’s an item that I’d like to be charged, but it still feels pretty useless compared to just turbo charging the core. It ends up feeling like I force myself to find some build that utilizes the right charge mechanic of The Core or the damage buffing of the The Weaponized Core even though it would be more correct to just turbo charge them, which feels pretty bad. I’d like more thought to go into the mechanics of dooley since very rarely is putting the cores anywhere other than the very right correct.

Hard to believe this could be stronger or beaten, and yet... a boulder build with the skill that charges every time an enemy item is used would have been funny to see Snnuy's reaction :)

You can just throw out the Core for 2 small Items and enjoy. Core is not definately needed to play Dave.

Dooley is still fuckin broken until day 8ish, it's absurdly broken imho, after that you get outscaled BUT vanessa and pig are infinitely less consistent and can die before that

The strongest Dooley friend build I got this patch is from left to right: silver companion core, Aiden, brick buddy, miss isles, metronome and bellelista. It goes insane

What a coincidence. I got to 9 wins with ignition core and a bunch of burn (including Dave) items on the right of it with 1 fast charging item on the left. I unfortunately got stopped by infinite shield Pyg

Interesting build I recently got beat by, burn build with a radiant powder keg. If you dont burn out... you get 2 shot by a powder keg.

I think your statements about Dave and right of the ignition core were correct in the previous patch But couldn't be more wrong now it's so much harder to scale your burn And Dave charges a lot more now too Though I think burn core is bad now so 🤷

btw, you don't need to remove items like bill dozer necessarily when applying cooldown reductions, because of the way percentages stack on top of each other. It literally does not matter if you apply a 9% cooldown reduction first and 20% after or 20% first and 9% after. The only effect you get by removing items with a CDR aura bofere applying more CDR, is that your items will generally have lower cooldowns when the aura is not in effect and that only matters if you're planning to remove the item with the CDR aura at some point.
