Can it be used on smaller posts?
It off and not centered. Nice try though.
Oh come on somebody out there Must have figured out how to do it without any gadget
Got a Amazon link
Just what I need
is this thing long enough to cut a 4x6 too?
Butterfly nuts cool tool though.
Finally got my tree branches cut using my new saw ruclips.net/user/postUgkx84IcU5pbZd1Qrz8u4-YRLmJax7kdRi7B , and it was effortless. Then tackled taking pallets apart by just cutting through the nails. Zip Zip, like butter, took no time at all! Absolutely love that you just push a button to change the blade, so quick and easy. I chose cordless because of all the outside projects I need to do, and most are too far to extend an extension cord to. Incredibly lightweight, and easy to handle. I will be using this all the time. There is a reason they call them Sawzalls , because they literally saw all the things you need cut. Once you buy one you'll kick yourself for not doing it sooner ~ Just make sure and buy the right blades for the job you want to tackle. The blades are not expensive, and there are lots of various multi-packs available.
Saw saw
Looks like shit
Never trust a video where cordless tools aren't used
Complete waste of time. What happens when you have to cut 30 posts? This is good for cutting one post Imagine all the wasted time setting this up and taking it apart when you can just cut the posts with a skilsaw!!!
Very good tool! I received it today and it has solved the problem for me. I tried a handsaw, a bow saw and using the reciprocal saw without a guide - all of these methods produced a very untidy cut. I also tried a circular saw, which was not deep enough nor accurate enough on the angle, especially as it would have needed to be turned over for a second cut. A fixed-angle jig would not have been useful as I needed to cut at a specific angle other than that of the jig. I am using screws to hold it in place as the clamps are not strong enough and I don't mind the little holes left behind. Two small gripes are that it was unexpectedly expensive for what it is and that the delivery took just less than two weeks. Nevertheless, a quality product which saves me from having to send away to a sawmill or carpenter. It comes with clear, well-written instructions.
This is great. Thanks.
Where's the link to order?
Excellent tutorial , thank you!!
Can u put a square in it to check
It would be a better design if it was a clamp design instead of screws, I don't want to damage customer's post with 100s of small holes!
Thank you for this amazing video!!! We had no idea how we were going to cut ours down. I'll be ordering that clamp today!!!
It took me over an hour to cut two posts using Recipromate, but it was 100% worth it.
Hi can you tell me the name and make of that bracket please? cheers
Ingenious. I wish I knew about this simple device a few weeks ago as it would have saved me lots of time and leveling by an angle grinder, wood chisel, and a saw zaw.
Quick recip saw tip: Pull your saw through the line of the cut every so often to clear the sawdust. Not a big deal if the wood is thinner than the stroke of the saw, but otherwise you're just accumulating sawdust in that groove, and the blade is just mulching those shavings instead of cutting through the board.
I have 24 of these, i wold be there all day at that rate
No narration and extremely complicated for no reason
Hi there. What is the alternative solution? Many Thanks
Was the line drawn on an angle? Looks like it.
That looks like it takes too long
Can i use the same device to cut a 45 on a round cedar post
Wow, could've done with one of those about 20 times in the past!
a what not to use video
not a great advert for it really
seems a bit long winded for cutting posts...what if you have like 20 posts to cut..will take forever!
Oh my god. You have to spend money for an accessory that’s inaccurate, which needs multiple bits to attach, while leaving a screw hole in the post/finished product. I can’t believe someone had the balls to get this garbage patented. No offence to the inventor, but your just robbing homeowners that don’t know anything about carpentry
Hi Gregory, What is your answer to the problem of cutting through a fence post at an angle? Many Thanks
lol it is like this company completely disappeared! Video looked cool. clicked link. 100% gone from Amazon. Not at Home Depot....no where, no place! too bad for this company

Came for a pro-tip, then I saw him using a corded drill. pass.....
Rumor has it he is still trying to cut through that post
How stupid must u be to not cut straight
Is faster n e.c with the circular saw
To much time
No way would I use this. I use a laser to level out top of posts and cut them all level all the time. If i did this it would take me forever. Not worth the hassle. Honestly its not that hard with a good sharp blade to mark a few lines and follow the lines.
Could have cut that with a hand saw in half the time
Waste of time. Just get a circular and learn how to cut them
100 years later :)
This one looks like its made from much better quality metal than the piece of junk I got! Mine got all chewed up from the blade.
I would recommend attaching to two small quick clamps instead of bolts
So much easier just to use a chainsaw and post caps. This would take forever with any large fence.
This was a bit painful to watch with how slow it went. I think you need a new blade as it shouldn't take so long to cut.
Cool idea. Using the right blade might be helpful though lol
