This long drone music piece is my contribution to the "asynchronous drone orchestra" back in May 2023 for the Drone Day, a remote collaborative project for which @chelidonframe asked nine different electronic musicians to share a 10 or more minutes sound, be it a drone, a field recording, or a more elaborate sound: those noises have been then mixed and combined resulting in a choral soundscape....

Dumb question but how do you get the sound from the tape recorder into the blooper? Is it just a microphone out into an audio input? Any suggetions on tape recorders would love to try this super inspired thank you!
Hi Will ! For this video I record the audio on the tape thanks to a buit in microphone on the walkman. Then a cable go from the headphone output of the tape recorder to feed the blooper. If you look closely you can see a black cable rolled above the tape recorder and connected to it and to the blooper. For this kind of trick, every tape recorder with a buit in microphone will make the job. This one (SONY TCM-200DV) is perfect but sometime overpriced, because of it's nice feature for slowing down the tape, but you could find a lot of other models that will works fine.

Just wondering about the loop length you set on the blooper. You never hear where the loop starts again its all so smooth. Is it just because there is no real timing on the piece?
@@CC6842 I set the loop length on the blooper at its maximum and it continue to record a last note or two orverdub before I press the stop switch. And as you say, there is not real timming, everything is asynchronous on this piece 😊

The last pedal MOOD has a stereo output. (Onward too but placed before a mono pedal … it stay mono) 😊

Amazing! Are you using the Microfreak as MIDI keyboard? I haven’t heard it playing a piano sound before.
Not in this case. Here I am playing the sample from my grandmother's piano. Because microfreak can play samples ;-) If you want to know more about this sample : ruclips.net/video/9qFr09HeiGE/видео.html
You can load samples on and play and adjust them with the granular as well. It's added so much functionality with the update.
