World Atopic Eczema Day ‘22: Traveling to meet others living with atopic dermatitis aka eczema
#LEOPharmaPartner Happy World Atopic Eczema Day!!! 🤗 I have been waiting to release this big secret for a while now and I'm so glad it's finally out! 😭🥰 This particular day has a whole new meaning for me as an eczema warrior and patient advocate. #AtopicDermatitis (AD), also known as the most common form of #eczema, is a condition that affects people worldwide. I really got to experience this firsthand as I traveled through Europe meeting other individuals who are also living with AD. (SPOILER ALERT: there are so many similarities 😮!!!) Stay tuned for more in-depth videos of what took place in each country and how each individual has been coping with their AD. May this journey inspire you...

    100% organic doesn't mean 100% cotton.

    The label clearly says “100% organic cotton CORE” the polyester and other things are in the string and plastic applicator. Just read the damn label!

    The trick of marketing - only the word before matters. 100% organic... Then also cotton. But then when people get wise to that they pivot to 100% of the cotton is organic! Marketers for women's products should be drawn and quartered.

I had to quit my job bc I can’t walk, I can’t even go check the mail it hurts and I’m UGLY and I’m oozing so bad I could use some support. Help me please anyone

    I was wondering I’m on steroid cream and did going on dupixent make it easy to go through TSW?

  • @worer850
    @worer850 3 года назад

    I'm on dupixant now for 6 weeks. I had minimal side effects from the loading dose. Very bad dry skin and a red face for about 2 weeks perhaps tsw. Now it's doesn't seem to be giving me any of the noticed side effects . Tsw is what is effecting me now. I must admit I have zero excema after just 6 weeks. I've already told me wife this is a 6 month to 1 year application. Mainly to help separate tsw from excema. So hard to treat excema when both symptoms can mimic each other .especially after the problem areas are the same areas drastically effecting from longterm steriod use. Hell, I even got basil cell carcinoma from light beds.( skin cancer) . I could go back in time I would never use steriod creams ..ever. doctors should be only applying this drug on site on their office. They never give proper instructions for usage and even after the fact, it becomes very difficult to deny the immediate relief applying the cream can give.

  • @worer850
    @worer850 3 года назад

    Steriod creams should only be applied in clinical settings for a period of no longer than 7 days . A doctor that says tsw isn't real is only covering their own ass. It does recover..duration is lengthy and varies from person to person given individual circumstances. I hope a reform on steroid creams comes soon. Its similar to the prescribed pain killer problem we have now in western medicine. Tsw is worse than any excema u will ever have.

      Thanks for sharing. I haven't injected myself with Dupixent for almost 3-4 years now and not using any medication and I'm still doing great!

  • @mckennalake6937

    But will you flare up? Maybe not now because I'm sure it's still inside you but as the months & yrs go by you could have a huge flare up. Eczema is a chronic disease. Not an illness but a disease which there is no cure except this non steroid drug to help it & control it. I'd stay on it if I were you. I've been off steroids for over 5 yrs & I still experience flare ups which are no fun & now considering this drug. I hate to go around with leathery dry skin that feels so uncomfortable & doesn't look good. If this drug will normalize my skin & make it look better & feel better then I won't mind using it all the time. I also heard that after awhile being on it you can go from every 2 weeks to just once a month. Nothing wrong with that & there's financial help for those who can't afford it.

    • @solarkat6055
      @solarkat6055 3 года назад

      Yes with my VERY severe eczema if I don’t take it for 2 weeks I flare up SO bad

    • @AshleyLora
      @AshleyLora 3 года назад

      Thank you for your input. I've been off of Dupixent for almost 4 years now, no steroids and no medications either... and I'm 98% healed or clear of eczema on any given day. So I'd say, what you believe is what you will achieve! I believe in healing outside of medication, and therefore I AM healing without it.

    I would never even touch the drug in the first place. I'm still going through TSW & my dr's wanted me to go on this stupid drug & I said no way. I've chose to heal my body in a natural way not a fake way.
