Great video Ashley! I can relate. Diagnosed with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Púrpura (ITP) in 2012 as a result of significant stress from 2 jobs and full time school. I was getting small "blood dots" all over my body as expected since this condition can trigger bleeding through your skin. My platelet count became dangerously low. I quit my jobs and lived off whatever 401k money I had saved. My health and happiness became my sole focus. I started to eat healthier and learned about nutrition. I started running and working out. 14 months later I went back to two doctors and they both confirmed my platelet count was at a healthy level and that there was no more cause for concern. I can still do more to have a better work/life balance but that experience opened my eyes and change my view on what each day means for us.
