Sounds like she has a personal problem mentally. Not the car
Can you clarify? I could say the same about you, right?
Did you wrap your CT in PPF or Vinyl? Is that satin black?
Satin Black PPF
The software is not finished yet and that's why you need to supervise.
your wife is wrong there is plenty of space. she has poor spatial reasoning
most lamest pull ever, big announcement, fire an all, barely goes... thats not a car person that's someone who likes a movie
It pulls fast like a tesla, but he was in a parking lot and went slow for safety

wow you have to park it manually, so old school
You’ve been trying the future, your kids will experience it.
Babysit the computer is more like it <:) It's cool hardware and software, but it maintains its binary nature.: It works until it doesn't. Good luck with it! It'll be a great asset when it works like the FSD Musk was saying would be available in 2020.
Haha, she is asking the right questions!
The main reason for "baby sitting" the vehicle, is because of legislation, not because the vehicle requires it!!!! It is rules and legislation that "forces" Tesla to ensure you still monitors the vehicle, not because the vehicle, or FSD, requires you to do so!
Even without regulatory restrictions, Tesla knows FSD Supervised is not yet ready to drive unsupervised; it's in the name.
So I wanted to add something to my observation on your video, as to having a 1st time driver who’s had no real experience with either driving a Tesla, and particularly in driving a Tesla using FSD. So I would say to someone just starting to become acquainted with the system, that it’s okay, and I would insist that you keep your hands on the steering wheel, after you engage the system, in fact, I prefer that you do so, because it is our responsibility to maintain control of our vehicle, as we may need to brake in certain situations, particularly if it makes you uncomfortable. So as a beginner, I would say, stay alert, use the system as it intended, and there’s nothing wrong, in fact I insist that you keep your hands on the steering wheel until you become more confident, more sure that you know predictively what the system can and cannot do in certain situations, because it can be quite jarring if the car does something unexpected, because that will cause some people not use the system, and that’s exactly the opposite of what Tesla wants to have happened here for obvious reasons. So we should never forget that, that maintaining control of our cars, is our responsibility, as licensed drivers, because the laws governing the use of motor vehicles have not changed, and even though the car can do certain things, it’s still our responsibility as licensed drivers to always maintain control over our vehicles on public highways/streets/roads, etc. cheers 🥂
_keep your hands on the steering wheel until you become more confident_ NHTSA has found that when folks do this with Autopilot, it's easy to overtorque the wheel and inadvertently disengage TACC, which led directly to 55 crashes. Like I said, this applied to Autopilot; but there's no reason to believe it wouldn't apply equally to FSD.
So when FSD was 1st released in 2019, it was FSD beta, which meant that it was experimental, and now with the release of vision only, they have enough confidence, to renamed it, FSD supervised, because you still have to pay attention to the road, and so this is hard stuff, because if it was easy, why wouldn’t their competitors have already done it? The reason is because it’s not easy, this is difficult stuff to accomplish, and also the liability that goes along with having FSD, unsupervised, meaning you don’t have to pay attention to the road anymore, and that’s exactly what’s going to have to happen if they’re going to be able to release a fleet of Robo taxis in the very near future, or if they’re going to actually allow us to have, version 13, and if that should happen, think about the liability to Tesla, because essentially what you’re saying is that I the, driver, no longer have the responsibility for what the car does, even if it crashes into something. So with 1 million or more cars on the road today and Tesla announce it sometime next year, that they are releasing FSD unsupervised, meaning that I no longer have to pay attention to the road or what the car is doing, and that’s a huge liability on Tesla don’t you think?
Actually after a couple more hours of driving after the first time, the drive starts to become more relaxing. First time users needs to relax and start to better trust FSD. Be attentive and be a defensive driver which is easier with FSD enabled since it keeps the car in the lane until it has to make turn where the driver has to supervise. Thanks for posting. :)
Supervising FSD is like when I taught my two daughters how to drive. I'm done being a drivers ed trainer. I'll drive myself. :)
0:18 “and watch it so you don’t get strikes.” You been a bad boy with him in the car and gotten strikes before?
Currently you can snack while supervising

wonderful
Follow distance was removed from FSD and only available in autopilot. Also since the front is flat and hard to see the hood it's actually not as close as it feels. Thanks for the video.
@@N2tech thank you
Interesting video. I never saw a mobile supercharger station before. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing video, love the reactions hahaha
Hi Sir, How are you? Are you looking for a Professional RUclips Thumbnail Designer and RUclips video SEO Expert? Let me know please Thanks.
And for those that have solar, you're making your own "gas." EV's are vastly superior in situations like these. And really, in most others ways.
Was charging free? Did Tesla allow you to charge for free?
Hi,this is Hansshow,a popular brand who make Cybertruck accessories,do you interested in review our products? We can send it for free
Hey David,do you interested?
You could choose ‘Average or Assertive’ under full self driving options if you don’t want car to be too close just fyi.
i am the kid in the video it does not show it we dont know why
How do you know where the mobile chargers are located?
@rodmosley1699 Talking to the drivers of the rigs, they said if they have time for an event they'll put them online in the app so you'll see the additional stalls online. To quote him, "When they're running and running for disaster recovery, they just plug them in and don't put the stalls online in the app."
So gas cars have to wait a long time to get gas after a hurricane. But 99.9% of the time we don't have any real wait to go from 0% to 100%. The cybertruck is goofy so not sure why you think it's superior to regular cars. I don't hate EVs but I don't see them as being on this pedestal above gas cars. Maybe down the road if they improve the batteries both in cost and capacity, and even safety from salt water flooding. (Friends neighbors Tesla caught fire and the only reason it didn't spread was the flooding) And the cost of repairs is insane still. Damage to an EV might run 10-50k vs the same damage on a gas car might run 1-10k as a vague example. I enjoyed driving some EVs. Just not for me yet. (Also I hate the cars that slow down without applying their brake lights, I normally see EVs do it with regen braking, but even other cars do it so can't totally blame EVs for this. I'd think a software update would make it flash brake lights when it regen brakes or something after a second or so... Who knows.)
So do you intend to drive your car into the ocean? Do you intend to buy an EV so that it will catch fire? Do you intend to buy an EV to run it into a brick wall, and then need repairs? So everything that you just said, made no sense, and if you wanna buy an ICE car, nobody’s saying that you can’t buy one. So this whole notion that someone is forcing you to do something you don’t wanna do, is in your head, and you listening to the talking points from like people like Donald Trump, that told, the gas and oil industry, that if they donated a billion dollars, to his campaign, that would end the EV mandate. Really! EV mandate! When did that happen?
@@theodorehaskins3756 Everything you just said also made no sense so have a good day.
@@JoshM7 So what did I just say, that you think, made no sense?
@JoshM7 99.9% of the time, I charge my ev in my garage. Interesting comment about brake lights and regen braking. You must be talking about a non-tesla? No. I don't think my truck is better than others. I didn't say that here. I bought it because it's different, not because it's the best. It doesn't check all the boxes, but the boxes it does check I can't find in any other vehicle. I dont worry about dents, steer by wire, FSD, and a truck that's faster than race cars. There are a lot of other features I do wish the truck had, but oh well.
Actually super cool that Tesla did this!
The reason why its relatively EZ to get a charge during this emergency is because so few people even who own an electric vehicle. Imagine trying to scale this to the level of ICE vehicles on the road. Where every car has to spend 40+ minutes at a stall it would simply be impossible. Think objectively you own an electric vehicle stop making it your identity. if people adopt this vehicles like you say you want them to you wont be special anymore and it will be very hard to handle for you if your whole identity is: I own and electric car.
I own an EV, but I was going to say the same thing as you.
First part correct if you don't already have a full charge. Most people would prepare with either EV or ICE surely? The identity thing is an American sickness.
As an engineer that specializes in automotive (including gas & electric), it's much simpler to scale up electric vehicle charging infrastructure than to setup new gas wells etc.
@Johndoe182hr I never said I want everyone to have an EV in the video. Quite the opposite, actually. The more people on EVs the more it will raise Supercharger rates, and they'll make EVs pay an additional tax at the DMV since we're not paying gasoline tax. So I'm okay flying under the radar...lol.
@@FamilyTested Some states already do make EVs pay extra annual vehicle registration, such as Wisconsin where I live. But I'm fine with that, because first, I'm paying my (often more than) fair share of road use tax, which shuts critics argument about that up. Secondly, that extra cost is still significantly less than what I'd be paying in gas every week. And to comment more specifically to Johndoe182hr, this is only true if they don't bother to add more public charging, in which case he'd be correct. But you know that old saying, where there's a will, there's a way? Once there's more EV's, there's obviously going to be more demand for public charging. Someone will fill that demand, and at some point in the future, EV charging will be nearly as ubiquitous and commonplace as gas stations are. Imagine seeing 20-40 DC fast chargers/Superchargers at every mall/big box store, where someone could get a decent charge in the time it takes them to do their weekly shopping. Yes, this will increase demand for power. But again, if the demand is consistently there, power companies will figure out a way to increase the supply of electricity.
Tesla should be openly shamed until the EVs are salt-flood-proof. Can't even get their power walls, the entire house would have been on fire from just the first few inches.
@AustinCameron They are salt proof. But like a gas car, things can go wrong. The rate of fires on Tesla's per million vehicles produced is way less that gas car fires. Gas cars shouldn't explode or catch fire either, but they do. If you're going to wait to buy any car until they don't catch fire, I suggest a good pair of walking shoes.
@@FamilyTestedHow many gas cars exploded from Milton or Helene? Don’t be intellectually dishonest, as you pray to Tesla QA and put your entire neighborhood in jeopardy.
@@AustinCameron Your second sentence implies that the hurricane is a minor inconvenience.
Too bad Tesla didn't use their Semi.
They do
@hirc2007 I know right. The problem with the semi's is that they want to be around a mega charger I think. Not sure. One day they will.
@@FamilyTested they literally do use em its not hard looking it up on RUclips
The semis are on limited rollout, and they are not in Florida yet.
Awesome that the mobile chargers have magic docks!
As a proof of concept. Rigs like these can be precisely placed relative to the real post storm or disaster needs dictate.
This is not new. Tesla has done this before on emergencies like this.
