I’m a mom to a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. Postpartum for my first, I had three SUPER hard weeks from weeks 3-6 with PURPLE crying, but then it was smooth sailing. With my second, it was SO much harder- I had SCARY thoughts and the hormones were INSANE. You are not alone and it does get better ❤

This is soooo relatable. We are now 5 months in and those hard newborn days/nights are starting to blur! It is so much easier and so much more sleep in a few months! Y’all got this!!! You are doing amazing and don’t feel guilty for feeling like it is hard.. it is hard!

I pray you guys can drown out the hate and the judgment from other people. It’s absolutely ridiculous how people act sometimes! Every child is different and every parent is different. So we’re gonna do things differently. And then you adapt based on your child and their needs and their personality. I was going to comment on the bath thing. I viewed baths as more of a nightly routine to get ready for bed. It helped my child to get on a good schedule for sleeping. It helped him wind down and you know comfort him into that sleeping time. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t! Love you guys!!

Hello from Ontario 👋🏻❤️!! I'm a mom of a 3.5 year old and am currently 36 weeks, I've loved getting to follow along on your journey in pregnancy, I'm a couple months behind you all and it's given me so much to look forward to. I've been so excited for you all the whole time! And honestly I appreciate so much the vulnerable shares. I know some people don't want to share how hard it is, I felt like maybe I just had a really hard time the first month because its not talked about really how hard it is? Though I kid you not my experience with the first month or two with my first little girl was almost identical, it was so beautiful and honestly the hardest thing I've ever done, I would say harder than the birth lol! I've never been so tired. A few times I literally thought I couldn't do it. God really held me through that time, thankfully, and my little girl and my husband. You guys are an amazing family, and I wish you only the best!! Thank you again for your content, and for glorifying God through it all. So thankful. Lots of love coming from up North ☺️🇨🇦❤

Mom of a 4yo and a 3 month old, who also doesnt live near any family, and just wanna send some encouragement your way: IT WILL GET BETTER! Every month/year just gets better and better. The first 4 months are the hardest and then it's just absolute fun. Thank you for being so open about your postpartum experiences because I felt the same way with both kids. Also, don't fret about not preparing for baby. There's no way you could prepare. The best learning is on the go, and you guys are doing great! He is so lucky to have you as parents!

I started laboring at 5 am and kept feeling contractions throughout the day and i lost my mucus plug. Since my third was induced i had forgot how labor was supposed to go 😅 and kept thinking my contractions were too mild and inconsistent to be actual labor. Finally around 7 i decided to go to the hospital but I wasn't in a rush because i didn't think they would let us stay so i showered and we ate and put our kids to bed then got to the hospital at 10pm. I was already 6 cm 😅😅 and she was born 3.5 hours later. I'm glad i decided to go cuz if i would've ignored it she would've been born at home lol

With my last I went all natural and I definitely wasn't expecting at the very end when I was ready to push to feel the contractions in my right kidney. It felt with every contraction that my kidney was being twisted in my back. That was insanely intense. With my first 2 I didn't really get that and I had got epidurals with them.

I never got swollen at all in my first pregnancy, but as soon as we got home from the hospital it was intense. My husband had me watch RUclips videos of obese safari animals. (Animated, not real of course) I laughed so hard(which is very painful if when you tear). 9 years ago and still a great memory. So happy for you both and that baby got here safely. Sarah, you're amazing. Good going.

Omg the IV was honestly the worst part! Everything else was totally fine lol I had 9 different spots where they tried to put it in and I don’t even have bad veins. One nurse blew my vein and my arm swelled up. They had to have anesthesiology come in and place it with an ultrasound and thank goodness for them lol I had horrible bruises for a month afterwards 🫠
