Hi Mark! I found your vid. Really great, Thought it was great finding someone who played the same track, so I share with you what I did with it. Hope you like it!
what an amazingly beautiful piece..wow how could i have missed this all these years..truly evokes me spiritually,,you the man!!!
Few songs have such attention paid to the dynamics. Carlos is a master - the way he controls the tone & overdrive thru his fingers and the guitar controls, especially during the first half, is sublime.
This is just like sooooo tight!
Excelente
Another one of his great instrumentals. Europa, Song Of The Wind, Aquamarine, I Love You Much Too Much. Songs don't always need words when the music can express feelings even better.
In my opinion, Santana"s best and sweetest tone ever was when he played that Yamaha guitar. Although the move to PRS sounded good I think and wish he would have stayed with the Yamaha. Nothing compares to that sweet tone and sustain that he brought out with that guitar.
Line up is from the Moonflower album, the one album that had me hook, line and sinker at the age of 13, I’m 60 now and still a die hard fan! Praying he recovers quickly for his back ailments and is back touring, making music and making us all happy with his stage presence and guitar mastery! T. Vasquez
❤raw talent yes here in October.2024
I WAS A RHYTHM AND BLUES TRUMPET 🎺 PLAYER WHILE IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY 🪖☮️🇺🇲 MILITARY POLICE STATIONED IN JUANA DIAZ, PUERTO RICO. IT WAS AN INTERGRATED BAND. JOE TURNER AN AFRICAN AMERICAN LED OUR BAND. I WAS 19 YEARS OLD THEN NOW I'LL BE 82 YEARS OLD THIS JANUARY. I BELIEVED I WAS GOOD BUT THAT TRUMPET 🎺 PLAYER IN THE BAND PLAYING AT SOUND STAGE 77 ON UTUBE MAKES ME LOOK NOT AS GOOD AS I THOUGHT I WAS. HE ONE BAD ASS TRUMPET PLAYER. ITS BEEN MANY YEARS AGO BUT I REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY WHEN I WAS YOUNG. WHAT A BAND! TOO ME, UNPARALLELED IN R&B TOWER OF POWER AND THEY WEREN'T KIDDIN' THAT THEY WERE! THAT'S MY COMMENT! ✌️ PEACE AND GOD'S MAGNIFICENT GRACE AND LOVE TO YOU ALL WHO READS MY COMMENT! RIGHT 👍 ON! RIGHT 👍 ON! DIG THAT! WHAT GREAT MEMORIES I HAVE PLAYING MY HORN WITH " JOE TURNER AND THE AMBASSADORS" A VERY LONG TIME AGO! I'M OUTTA' HERE BEFORE I START TEARING UP! ❤🎉
Meravigliosa
The real deal, the feel of 1977
The first two minutes hit my soul and fill my spirit more than the whole discography from Satriani, Vai and Petrucci together.
☝️😎
Pure Pure Musical Glory.... and May God's Pure Love Bless Us All....
Carlos is a genious. In matters of guitar handling and composition. Well so much for the musical part. He is a very good person in ethical terms. We know, he supported pupils in San Francisco. May our Lord Jesus bless him. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. .
.
Put another way, 2024 , our year , most music from the ‘70s onward is still considered contemporary today….. in the late ‘70s ,anything BEATLES AND BEFORE SEEMED WIERD?
Can’t believe this arrangement is close to 50 years old and sounds more contemporary than those swing charts of the ‘20s and ‘30s when they were almost 50 years old in the late ‘70s???
Such beautiful flight Mr. Carlos Devidip Santana. I've never seen your band tighter than this. Bravo to all.
Love Santana but don’t like this
Absolutely Fantastic ! Speechless I am 😊
I remember seeing this live. This is the best group of musicians who worked with each other. Without a doubt this was the best Santana lineup to this day.
ME TOO! IN HOUSTON IT WAS ON THE PBS CHANNEL 8... I RECORDED THE AUDIO ON A CASSETE TAPE
Tom Coster on the Keyboards wrote this song.
<3<3😢
Yamaha and Mesa.Boogie days. Yess !!
Genio
Is that Lenny Williams singing? If it is, I wonder if the date is wrong?
UN SER MARAVILLOSO.
Wow
fantastıc....raul recov .....
So ahead of his time especially from min 3.16
Just saw him last week, still awesome at any age
Beginning in 1973 w/ caravanserai till 1980, Santana introduced us to early years of fusion 🎵🎧,welcome...borboletta...love, devotion and surrender...amigos...🕯️🙏🕯️
Bravo!!!!!
extraordinaire!
My all time favorite era of Santana, his guitar tone, his band including the two singers that he had Alex Ligertwood and the awesome Greg Walker! Buddy Miles was no joke on vocals either.
Ritmo Santanero en estado puro..
Back when there was real talent.
Can’t ever understand why Carlos ever stopped playing the Yamaha…. It was so much better sounding than the PRS
I can't wait for July 16th 2024 live in Perugia, Italy, Umbria Jazz festival!!!
Masterpiece!
В романтические времена я родился)
Chepito !
What a great song. I saw Santana 8 days later February 10, 1977 in concert at the Sam Houston Coliseum Houston, Texas with same line up. And yes they played Maria Caracoles. I took a very close up picture of Carlos with his samba whistle hanging around his neck. Nothing but good memories. Thank you for uploading this video.
Love me some Santana....❤
Wow!!!Amazing! Thank for the share!
Fantastic.blazing guitar solo....
Magnificent
Wow, 100% pure rumba 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
