"Gospel believing Christians" is presupposing your interpretations of scripture, specifically on soteriology. You have no normative authority that tells you what goes in the Bible, what books are canonical, or what is the proper interpretation.

They see a church that will criticize them for video games and then wave them off to war. Their pastors preach peace but won’t do anything to promote it. The pastors pray a goodbye as the young men go to fight for the country that will shut down their churches.

I like both Wes and Jordan. I do prefer Jordan's perspective because it allows people to believe in God and the power (not mythology) of Jesus Christ, and all WITHOUT becoming a religious fanatic who believes in magic. Wes is very logical and stable, but the fact is that he expects people to believe in the magic and mythology, as if we haven't seen what that has led to historically. Holy Wars, Spanish Inquisition, etc. I will gladly listen to everything Wes has to say, but I will live my life in the way Jordan Peterson has recommended.

Being a moral example can’t be divorced from the person of the Christ, but it also can’t be given primacy, which Peterson is not saying. But when one looks at the psychological substance of much of what Jesus says, it is yes archetypal in nature: large concept a priori truths that you ignore at your own peril.

He had two podcasts featuring an ex Orthodox priest and hardly gave the guy an opportunity to speak...just dominating the conversation...giving his own opinion...the poor man had to sit and listen to this guy pontificating.

I am a 1689 Reformed Protestant who is as conservative as it gets, and have actually met him, but I cannot stress enough to avoid this man (and when I say that avoid I mean his teachings/videos) until/unless he repents. Very disturbing, unbiblical ideas. Honestly one of the things that bothered me the most was the “black doctors” comment. The Canadian pastor Jacob Reaume made a very good point; that Webbon will claim certainty over things such as the Nephilim, Greek gods, or conspiracy theories, but pretend that he doesn’t know for sure about the you-know-what committed by Germany during World War II. Pray, and be a Berean.
