Thanks, I already have the same equipment. I installed one kit in my Porsche Cayman S that my wife races. I now need to install the other one in the Rush. Nice clean install. I was trying to figure out where to put the antenna, I'll do the same as you. Now to find someone to be on the other end, as my wife's races are normally back to back with mine. And she would most likely be asking me if I remembered to take out the trash before we left home and stuff like that. Thanks for the video.
@@davidpeck596 thanks!! 😂😂 I totally understand that being a problem. Could be better then most wives saying “how much longer” or “is it over yet” 😜
Thanks for the vid. Been liking these, and their light little tires! How much time to change the front sprocket? Do you move the diff for the chain length difference, or take a link out? A Kansas team that was just here said they also have changed brand of chains, found that they lasted longer. You have chain issues?? Thanks for any info.
@@kwasg3 front sprocket change is quick maybe 20 mins. Yes you loosen diff adjusters to adjust chain length no need to remove a link. I have not had any issues with the chain just change it every 20 hours and you’ll be good to go. I’ll make a video about how to change the sprocket!
Hey I’m not a member of the Rush community at this point but I am thinking about it. What I need to say however is that I really appreciate these videos as I learn about these cars. I hope everyone realizes how lucky they are to have someone like you create helpful videos like you have been doing. I was born in Charlotte but Don’t live there anymore, but if I did - having a dude like you nearby to consult with would make having one of these almost a no brainer!!! It is always awesome and lucky when you can find buddies to hang with, especially when you all know your vehicles. Keep up the awesome work (please!!!!!!!)! 😂
@@ISpinUWin thanks buddy! The Rush is a great car and I’d recommend them to anyone who enjoys working on a race car and driving something raw! I’m always here to help any Rush owner and would gladly share my cell number.
My air compressor has a quick drain plug that doesn’t need to 100% be removed. It holds 150psi although it does so on my compressor which I don’t drive around a track. 😂 Is there something like that that can replace the need to 100% remove the plug?
@@ISpinUWin probably! Both of my air compressors also have those.
I get it - #racecar. Are you breaking this stuff via reasonable bump-n-runs or rough offs? For example, the upright bolts - us Lotus guys have the same thing. They are a wear part but if they break it usually causes $$$. But ball joints etc last years, the car is pretty maintenance free, at least with no contact HPDE type use. To bend control arms would prob also result in a bent wheel also. Anyway, trying to get a feel of the durability of the Rush. If I get one I already subscribed as I appreciate the great videos!
Also, just wanted to say that I appreciate the filming of the struggle bus as it is a realistic depiction of the detour many of us might run into. Makes me remember that my frustrations are common and overcome-able.
@@DixonDavenport absolutely man!
What was your interval on running this cleaning/servicing? Did you say after every event?
@@DixonDavenport rush says every 8 hours this was 7 hours
Wow - is there some explaining why the interval is so short? A good HPDE event is about 80min a day or more. Many are 2 days. In that case that means CV rebuild every 3 weekends?? This is a shocker for me. Street cars are measured in 10k miles of track time (although much harder to do on my car). Even if I had spares to rebuild on my own time I don’t like idea of swapping them out potentially every 5-6 months! By your review it seems you didn’t like what you saw if someone even waited 8hrs. Sigh this is bummer to learn (but thanks again for another awesome vid)!
Am I wrong to read here that it says CV rebuild every 20 hours? manual.rush.sr/maintenance/maintenance-schedule
@@ISpinUWin I’d say it’s up to you. I’m not making any claims to what you should or shouldn’t do but just my thoughts. A new cv is almost $800 so I’d rather be extra than not enough.
@@speeddemon9329 what you are saying is for sure not bad advice. YMMV!
Word of advice... Buy a set of Proto Advanced Metric Hex Sockets. They really really help preventing stripping out all of those hex head bolts. Cots about $120 for a set, but worth every penny!!!

@@jackroman8821 absolutely!! You’re very welcome.
First step, loosen the FILL plug. i'll let you think about why that should be first.
@@cat22_a1 ?
@@cat22_a1 either plug could be the drain and or fill plug. Unless your joking about something and it went completely over my head lol
@@speeddemon9329 I'm talking about a typical automotive diff or rear end with one fill plug and one drain plug. The last thing you want to do, in that case, is to drain the diff and find out you cant loosen the fill plug.

Nice job, thanks. We also wrench the car every few track days, I find even with the paint marks lined up I can still get a quarter of a turn as the car breaks in. Looking forward to a belt drive when it becomes available also ... BTW we also upgraded the mirrors, huge difference!
@@CMD-h9v absolutely!! Be mindful if you are getting a quarter turn on something that has loc-tite on it you’ve now broken that loose and it is now ineffective. Nice job! You can see the confidence is there in your driving. Looks like your camera is adjusting it's exposure to the changing sky very quickly. For example when you turn the car and the camera is pointing towards the brightness of the clouds, the exposure decreases because it is seeing the bright clouds. I was looking at the Aim user guide (not sure which camera you have). It looks like in the software you can move a defining box around on screen that the camera uses to set the exposure. I would arrange the box so that it is below the horizon so that it uses the road surface and ground level objects to set the exposure and less of the sky.
Thanks Tim, definitely was a blast!! I was planning on looking into the brightness issue so thank you greatly for the feedback on that I’ll check it out. Eugene popped off a 2.04.8 it was a great weekend for PB’s.
