You've got to press Ctrl + Shift + LClick to select different bones in Blender 4.3.1. This data is deprecated. No offense, still a great tutorial.

To select weight paint each bone press Alt then left click not Ctrl

I checked everything at the bones part but everytime its doesn't works completely

Hey I'm far from an expert with blender (obviously as someone who needs videos like this) but I think there were a few unnecessary extra steps at the beginning there.. Just no need to go and make the body and arms and legs as separate objects only to join them after, you can add a new mesh with ctrl+a in edit mode just like object mode and then there's no need to worry about zeroing them out or joining them

i like the tutorial, but its surely not bigginer friendly, can you show me how to make my car design 3d in blender? its not as ez as a cupcake

This generation is hopeless.

I'm pretty new to Blender and could really use some help setting up the bones for a humanoid model. I've tried a bunch of things, but I'm still having trouble getting each limb to move correctly without deforming other parts of the body. From what I understand, each part should move independently, but I'm not quite sure how to set that up properly. If anyone could walk me through the right process, I'd be super grateful!

Brillian tutoria, and I have a few questions. How can I define movement directions, star/end point for my camera?

watching this in 2024! the only bit i had difficulty with was the bit where you make the bones symetrical but i fixed it =)

if anyone else is stuck at 9:00 (connecting the tail bone) make sure you select the tail bone first so the spine has a lighter yellow outline

With the newer version of blender, the hip wont connect to the spine, thus the upper body separates. The bones have changed so that you can only extrude from the tip of the bone, and not the root (the connection between hip and upper leg). To correct this, (edit mode), select upper leg, then (shift) select the spine bone. Ctrl P. to parent and keep offset. Repeat for other leg.

i dont have the option to parent with automatic weights

im working on bones for my character, but when posing the bones it seems to change the size of the object that has that bone. how to fix this and whats this called?
