Some wrote they wish a link to download the full project. I mean that is not a good idea. We can learn with the turtorials from Mike a lot if we start with the first tutorial and work with one after the other in a series. Of cause it needs a lot of time. But we can learn a lot about Game Development, about C# programming, about the Unity Engine and how to implement a idea in the project. And I have fun to see that my programming skills will be increased from video to video. At least we are able to create a own game or to modify the Game from the tutorial. Of cause this depends from the own skills. Not all can be excellent developer. But increase the own programming skills is possible for all. I was looking for 3 years for such a tutorial series. And this one are extremly excellent. Thanks to Mike.

I simply had the problem that if i picked up the weapon, it would sometimes show show the outline and sometimes wouldnt. I fixed it by adding "hoveredWeapon.GetComponent<Outline>.enabled = false;" in the line wehere you pick it up (e.g. with f) In the if (Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.F)) { WeaponManager.Instance.PickupWeapon(objectHitByRaycast.gameObject); hoveredWeapon.GetComponent<Outline>().enabled = false; }

I did this and got a post processing error in the script when I’ve never messed with that script
if yall are having issues with using box colliders on objects and the weapon type this in the if it will disable the box collider on active weapon. This will help prevent issues with your weapon model getting stuck on objects while using the weapon but preventing the player from clipping through the wall since its, you know, a ******* wall (isActiveWeapon) { // Disable the BoxCollider when the weapon is picked up BoxCollider boxCollider = GetComponent<BoxCollider>(); if (boxCollider != null) { boxCollider.enabled = false; }
