Simon in the Land of the Chalk Drawings - Moon Rocket
“I guess you guys aren’t ready for that yet. But your kids are gonna love it.”
There is no band like The Pixies
Joey has such an economical but devastating guitar style.
I keep coming back to this one. Kickass noise
😍
I grew up on the later revival series from 2002, absolutely adored that version to the point where my mum's best friend at the time I watched it here in England circa 2006-2007 even named her second daughter after one of the characters from the show, that being Lily, Simon's friend from the 2002 series, glad every episode of the 1970s version is up on RUclips as I'm a fan of 70s animation, especially anything produced by FilmFair or that Bernard Cribbins narrated
If it were only so easy as to fix the past, present and future through art.
I probably hadn’t heard this for 50 years. It’s amazing how it all comes back.
My daughter told me she was going to a movie about a purple crayon and that made me remember Simon. I’m so glad this was available to show my kids. Innocent, sweet cartoon.
I miss the long box cd cases
This is both the worst thing I have ever seen and the best.
I love Anton Fig but...WTF is Anton Fig playing drums instead of David Lovering?? Stupid!! I want to hear Lovering, not Fig, or F@#in Paul Shaffer. That's why i f#@ing hated David Letterman.
Damn this is a very hard song to "jam" to.
Okay is this the waiting area?
1975 till 2024 still wrong pull
We here now🏆™️
Another Pinwheel short. Oh how I miss watching this on summer mornings.
How is it that Joey looks younger 30 years later? Lol
The semi fall of Thurston Moore at the end is like the manifesto of his genuine greatness.
I'm a proud American, who has a love and deep respect for the British!
I saw them live when this came out..incredible show! Man time flys by...92 was a very fun time!
Used to love this. Watched it on Nickolodean. I think...
Used to come on the Captain Kangaroo Show- Very Nostalgic, I haven;t thought of this is over 50 years.
The house band should have fucked off when they were on stage
When the Beat Farmers played on there they reduced Country Dick to playing an un-mic’d accordion
Xx
Go Paul!
Oh Kim. I love you
Great performance considering the band was imploding at this time. Poor Kimmy is trying her best to hide way in the back.
Best Letterman live performance. Ever.

I miss this cartoon 👍
I hope it's not weird that I tear up every time I hear and watch one of these gems from my youth!

Loved this cartoon
love you guys but the Pixies are not the Pixies without Kim Deal
letterman’s house band really popped the fuck off that night goddamn
I never saw this as a kid. My wife watched it and once in awhile would hum the tune. Simpler times back then.
Paul sucks. Leave well enough alone. They don't need him.
That was a great collab
Thank you!! So many memories, does anyone remember Hattytown?
I had this song in my head for a few days. For some reason I thought Simon was a teddy bear
I knew this was real!! No one ever knew what I was talking about!! Thank you for posting this❣💙
Sick. Paul killed it so hard.
These lyrics...my word
This ain't no fucking around, Dennis Miller
Filmfair often produced some good shows.
