    Greek here, it is important that the milk is either from a goat or a sheep. If its from a cow, then what you are making is not feta.

    • @suntwistacreshomesteadingh8813
      @suntwistacreshomesteadingh8813 3 месяца назад

      We don't all have access to goat or sheep milk, this may not be authentic but it tastes just like feta. Oh and thank you so much for your helpful comment, I'm sure you feel better about yourself now.

    If I wanted to add dried herbs to the feta cheese, when would I add them to the cheese mixture? Thinking of dried roasted tomatoes, basil and oregano .

    We changed feed, and they picked up immediately! That was the only thing changed since the moult. I personally so not like the pellets, which we were using out of necessity. Now they are on mixed grains supplemented with black oil sunflower seed, now I have a lot of eggs.

  • @suntwistacreshomesteadingh8813

    Hey guys have you ever grown sprouts yourself? My favorite ki d of sprout is alfalfa, that's the kind you would typically get in the store. This one is a sandwich mix, it does have alfalfa in it and I do quite like it.
