Hi I’m 18 and looking to begin my ppl this summer. I’m confused with what to do after and the costs. Firstly should I got for a cpl or should I start an integrated atpl. If cpl is the next step, then I have to build certain hours to meet the requirement correct? How much will this approximately cost on top of the initial cost of the cpl ? I want to be an airline pilot.

Thanks Kudzi, you are an inspiration. I am starting out "later than most" and also doing it your way.... just getting through it as hard and dedicated and fast as possible. Aiming for 9 months total also whilst working a normal 45-50 hour work week in the day job.

Which school did you use for the ATPL exam training?

use Atpl question people, the question have the same structure as the real exam, my authority was austria, all ways did all real questions austria and a couple time the last 200 especially the day before. And make sure u score 90% or higher

If I am converting from FAA to EASA and few hundred hours on a jet, do I still need to get an MCC, considering the fact that I am already FAA/ICAO type rated ?

Dear KC I love your videos and love reading your fantastic blog. I thought I’d message you here to ask some advice. It’s my dream to be an airline pilot for Ryanair flying the 737. I am applying for the HCAP ppl scholarship and wondered if you would mind emailing me perhaps some advice on how to make a good application. I applied before but was rejected. I use flight simulator to fly the 737 zibo and pmdg and am currently studying law, it would be a big help to get a start to the training with ppl sponsorship as being a student I don’t have much money at the moment. Very useful. Hopefully on the APS MCC at VA in two weeks or four weeks time. I think I am making the right decision, investing more cash into this phase of my training.

How are you finding the Mac M1 on X-Plane? Did you upgrade to more features ? If so did it handle it ok?

Cool video. I'm a newish pilot just starting my type conversion. I current fly own and a Eurostar from Otherton in Staffordshire. I would recommend Llanbedr on the welsh coast, Sleap Aifiled and Welshpool. These are all lovely airfields to fly into. Thanks for posting.

So curious how it performed with add-pns installed, and more detailed scernery? Did you monitor your cpu temp and did you hear the fans kick in at all? Co Could it handle it with several plugins installed and what temp did it get up to or did it start thermal throttling?

I will start on a modular pilot program after I am finished with my 3 year bachelor. So I have a plan B available, if I wouldn't get a job as a pilot right away. My dream has always been to become a pilot, but I had to make the pilot dream on a hold due to covid and the circumstances in aviation. Thank you for the video!
