i like the 3 pip roshamboo counter cards, but outside of that i hate the inherent counter match ups roshamboo created. i think itd be cool to keep some parts of it, but overall it has created a stale meta. right now its literally just a rock paper scissors meta

Last year I've had my account banned... Someone hacked into my PERSONAL email and changed my pass, even changed my email pass. After a 2 months fight I finally got my email back which I needed I saw no trace of my account ever being on the account. I emailed Kingsisle about the whole situation following up with all screenshots of me trying to get my account back with all the dates, even my paypal was locked which I did get back in the end... So uh Kingsisle response to the whole situation; "Account was banned due to account sharing." Yep thats all they respondeed with, I emailed them 6 times following that and radio silence.. Never got my account till this day and it sucks had 3 max wizards, can't even remember how much money I've spend on every wizard along but yea it really does suck as you can imagine.

roshambo should've never been a thing tbh, wish it never happened and we kept having spells handed to us at every X8 level (38,48,58 etc) based on the school's (now legacy) identity, and keep tcs available for disadvantaged schools to work with (which isn't any school if roshambo doesn't exist tbh)

DOTs being fire’s main way of doing damage, but also being able to be countered with roshambo spells is kind of stupid. Every other school doesn’t have to worry about their attacks being completely negated by a stormzilla. RoShamBo is an Extremely flawed design for Fire in my opinion

Can you ask why tf they keep buffing death? I don't do max cause i'm not wasting my time with it especially when the devs should realize their playerbase is mostly adults now that do not have the kind of time we did as kids. Whales carry this game, because I know our playbase is shrinking by the day. It's as though the devs are driving in a car (this game) on the edge of a cliff, and keep shifting weight to where we, the players, think it's about to plummet to hell, but somehow these morons that caused this car to be on the edge of the cliff in the first place just baaaaaaarely keep it from going all the way

Rishambo was never needed during Wiz’s gold years, because the devs understood that it wasn’t their job to deck build and strategize for us. Just make cool spells that fit into our schools aesthetically, and let us use our entire arsenal to deal with things and create ideas of our own, and make the world feel alive. Broken things will always exist - it’s a MMO, but there’s no need to ban it as a result. We never asked to play rock, paper, scissors. I just wanted to make Greyrose proud with the spells that she taught me and made me work for. It was that world building charm that made me fall in love with wiz and made me feel apart of it all. I never wanted my identity to be countering storm, i wanted it to be a tank that used snowballs and snow giants with that crisp sound and aesthetic. Doubt ratbeard or anyone will see this, but they need to drop their ego and allow themselves to admit it was the wrong path.

I did 2nd age PVP, apart from cheaters who force you out of game, that era was FUN. I planned to return. Rhoshambo has ZERO to do with Wizard101. PVP should be using cards you can play while questing.

Maybe they're trying to make the game better for people who enjoy more complex combat systems, but it's screwing regular PVE players who aren't amazing strategists over royally, and they've made it clear that they don't care about that. It seems like they no longer want to make the game something that their players enjoy, they just want to make it whatever the heck THEY want to make it, players be damned.

Thank you Liam for actually being real about things this game isn't what I fell in love with when I was a kid who didn't really have friends and just wanted to get away from everything negative. I remember when I first did Tartarus and darkmoor even when I did the Greatspyre those dungeons felt so original. They felt like they put the story and school identity above everything and every school felt different but cool. Now I don't even know what I'm looking at anymore spellements, roshambo, Raids, and etc. like this game feels like they released a whole new game. Sometimes I even cry because all the friends I made all the memories everything feels like they will be all lossed because the game is going to be gone .

My friend and I use to play this game a lot, hell when the new world drops we will probably pick it up again. We actually like the archemastery/dual school system. Problem is we just genuinely hate roshambo and after we discuss it, it’s because of the lack of school identity caused by this.

In my opinion, either create another pvp split where we have classic pvp pre rhoshmabo (early 2020 and before) and post rhoshambo which is current pvp or completely remove rhoshambo and rework basically all the spells in the game again to e What they were before all the changes / tweak them to fit the old school wiz style

Rhoshambo wouldve been okay if it came out when the game started , but pushing it to players late in it is what caused the troubles

You can just right click any card now in your deck or gear and see what effects it does by hovering over it, not hard. Idk what you're complaining about...

What's more is that the sus guilds coordinate sniping assignments. I have informants in them, so I know what goes on most of the time. You know it's bad when I'd rather quickly get sniped than get an organic match. Rhoshambo made deck setting more rampant.

They just keep adding things to the game making it more and more unnecessarily complicated. First it was pierce to counter Jade spam. When really they should have just nerfed Jade. Then it was critical and block. Then shadow pips and rating. Then pip conversion. Then mastery pips and rating. Now it's roshambo. We never needed any of this stuff, the game was fine as it was. All we needed with updates was new spell, balancing and become more powerful with the existing stats in the game. Except those idiots kept bringing out hear with more and more resist which should never have happened. If they had decided they most resist you can have on a robe for example is 10 and like 12 for an ice, we wouldn't have needed pierce and resistance caps

This is so spot on. The sole reason I havent gotten back into the game is because of the new(ish) pvp system. Any returning player will take one look at all the spell changes, roshambo, archmastery and feel completely lost/disgusted. Not to mention the players that have spent money chasing lore spells, only to see them nerfed or changed in some way with new mechanics. They ruined a perfect game. A shame indeed.

At least liahm is the only content creator that got balls to talk about the real problems of the game.. I just wish you talked about the fact that wizard101 is more shifting for raid and pvp players instead of pve which made it popular

I'm of the 1% in the game and even for me it's a bit much. Playing this game feels like a full-time job with no benefit. The game is just not fun anymore. I have 11 max wizards and 4 accounts. I plan on quitting this week. Other than raids there is nothing else to do, It’s longer the same game I used to love.

They need to get rid of it, the end of this video isn’t it, you essentially say they need to take it further which is not what they need to do, they need to get rid of it, fight for the old game it’s worth it, one day pvp could be full again and the game could be popular but they have to get rid of this bs.

Noo cuz i dont even play wiz anymore I quit ~when 140 was the max level and they added the school pips after and theyre soo confusing to me like whats the point of a school if you can just get pips from other schools?? such a weird choice

Rhoshambo killed the game in every way, putting in raids that can only be completed by an elite group of people throwing out casual players, then only made some schools better at pvp like death balance myth. It killed all the possible strategies in the game not to mention the pvp team, for me it was just enough to add some basic cards like remove blades/traps, the followers had to be nerfed and only the myth ones remained unchanged because it is the minion school not the school of changing shields for traps, fire had to remain damage over time and healing over time, death had to attack and heal but not too overwhelmed. Vita had to be a bit like myth, having good minions and normal healing that wasn't too exaggerated, balance had to be a mix of all the schools and had to master the battle with weaknesses and combined attacks of elemental and spiritual schools, ice had to be damage in the norm they give over time and very high defense a bit like fire only without healing, if they understand that the basics of the game are those many people will play again because honestly now there is no good reason to play it.

Idk if you guys have know that Diego the Duelmaster this not been updated to show people how to pvp now cuz it's still on the old pvp one if they are going to have more pve players want to pvp they need to fix this

I used to love pvp and was warlord every age from 1st to 3rd. Took a break and this roshambo stuff makes me hate wiz. It's confusing and isn't fun to use.

Roshambo took 7 different schools, each based on a specific concept, and turned them into buff/debuff trades. School identity died. Spellements (upgrade paths) should be about school identity and not roshambo, for example, a balance spell should have upgrade paths where said spell makes damage from one specific school and then has an extra effect related to said school (ice would shield, myth would stun, fire would be an ot...). Thats what an upgrade path should look like: offers different ways to play a school within the realm of its identity. What is being done right now is just awful. On top of that, every time a spell offers some sort of problem It is just PvP banned instead of fixing the design flaws of the current pvp system. Lots of spells that were totally fine before this roshambo bs were just removed.

the problem with wiz, each person in their house, should have a training area, so you can train yourself against a random minion and you can use all the pvp and pve cards if you want to play against a friend, you need to go to the arena. But they should have at least that each wiz has their own pvp area to train themselves, to test new spells, and new strategies.

the simplicity of wiz is what made it enjoyable for me. i loved pvp early 4th age and it was so much easier to get into.

I think it's time for you to move on from Wizard101. Most of your videos in the past year have become these negative 10 minute rants over issues KI simply won't change. You have potential but it's definitely not on this game.

personally i feel like with rhoshambo it took the fun of playing a certain school. I feel like what made me love schools was the spells, but they arent even good so why play or the fact everyone has a counter to every strategy your school could have.

This summer "update" is just a misnomer that uses the word update loosely. This is more akin to a small bug fix/patch notes update than our traditional big 3 updates. This is basically a nothing-burger yet KI is still greedy AF for producing the most minimal or inaccessible or buggy AF content. Only soon will the portal of peril from the spring update be fixed to be an actual event with progress bar that rotates gauntlets instead of SinBad the entire time. Iirc, the summer cabal raid is still buggy & not worth doing atm. Beastmoon stuff is irrelevant when you have to wait many months or even past the next update to finally access a newly created form that was introduced more than half a year ago lmao. The pvp tourney stuff people were hyped about isn't even implemented yet fully and only just beginning. Like wtf KI? Do you guys sit on your lazy a$$es all day in the office rather than actually work? The boss rematches are still tedious to craft for their reagents & not everyone has endless gold keys to spam on farming a boss that has a small drop chance at giving you the new lore spellements of the school you want in enough quantity to attain tiering up your spell (fractions of a spell if you will). All these things should be just side changes added to a game that has a main thing/PvE content to focus on. Even last year's summer update had more things to look forward to or in the near future thereafter. All these "Quality-of-Life" changes should be in the Spring update not a summer update or fall update which should be bigger & have more substance/content. Big L.

These streamers always think players snipe them. Imagine setting for the hardest schools. In the 2nd age I set for the 2 schools that gave me most issues. Guess what I played other schools and when I played those schools, I did better

They making the same mistake as toontown. Playing it safe. Toontown died because they didn't change with the times. The server hardware got old. So the game started lagging. This might start to happen to our game. Security might become a problem. They be around for five to seven years.
