i’m not super knowledgeable on predecessor i picked it up last week and have racked up 40 hours already im having a blast. but in saying that im playing on sea from australia with around 130 ping which i dont really mind all too much in casual but i can tell you if they rushed the comp game modes and the sea server was dead i definitely dont think i would of had the patience to wait the extended que times and learn the game to eventually move into ranked. i do see your side but just thought some insight from a very new player might help

This isn't the start of the end...This games BEEN dead lmfao. It's just got a hardcore community desperately trying to keep it afloat. There is a reason 100 different versions of this shit have failed already. 2k players for a moba game and WITH A RANKED MODE, is never going to work. At least not in any capacity where everyone is happy. If queue times are ALREADY so bad, what makes you think this is the START of the end? Game can't even have 24/7 ranked mode or servers across the entire country lmfao. But people are still clinging on desperately it's so funny. They aren't going to spend money on more server uptime for such tiny player numbers. It just isn't worth the money for them. THAT is the actual answer. Money. As it always is. Too much money for servers. And even more money to keep certain servers up 24/7 instead of only limited times. Plus, this is their way of saying "Our game has legitimately NO players. If we allow you to play whenever you want in ranked, you'll never find a match" No one wants to play this game. No matter how much they promote it. THIS GAME has been around for ages now in many different forms. People HAVE played it already. No one wants to stick with it. Also, you guys aren't doing a good job holding up the community to begin with. Games got no one playing. So you guys as content creators aren't doing the game any favors. And definitely not promoting it well.

I dont think you understand why old paragon failed. like pred is surving on the nostalgia alone. it can be better but im not against devs taking time to make sure ranked has a better roll out.Few things that are just hard to balance for a game to have even a decent release -marketing -matchmaking cuz matching making in any game is a problem (also severs aren't built for the world to play on servers take time to build up. I just don't think its gonna be that big of a problem at least not for the future.

Now you know what it’s like for Australia to suffer, we only have SEA server as our playable server (since it’s the closest to Australia) and we have to permanently play with ping issues all the time. It’s the smallest community too, so we only play with the same 20 people or so on rotation, on top of that if you’re a high fake ranked player, you wait up to 30 mins for a game to verse people “your rank” We also don’t have any access to ranked, and if they think NA West is a low playerbase, we are practically non-existent to them. As Australia always is with games.

This is a bad take. The last two versions of this game failed to make it passed this stage, for the reasons they listed here. Instead of trying to understand that, you didn't finish a sentence before complaining. I'd rather be able to get into a game PERIOD, then have longer queue times because you want ranked rolled out so fast, when I'm sure a majority of players are casuals anyway. Give them a chance to get this game off the ground, I'd love to not have to wait another couple years for another game studio to pick this game up.

It’s not that difficult to understand…we don’t have enough players for a continuous ranked mode. It will split the player base and add to que time…ultimately, it can kill the game
