I love those kind of testimonials and adored the fact that you are so attentive and greatfull for his details. Not long ago I considered myself as agnostic until I had an unexpected and amazing experience in the church and a few more since then. My sister found her way to GOD approx. 2 years ago and never tried to influence me and just so gently shared her experiences and knowledge. One night we watched the Passion of the Christ and I did not understand myself. It felt like I went back to Uni, as I was paying immense attention. The same night something inexplicable happened: I suddenly woke up, eyes open and fell the mattress shaking. Just enough that I woke my sister up and she felt it too. It happened 2x. The next morning I did not understand what was going on with my body. But something inside of me was exited to accompany her to the church. The moment I entered I felt serious and went into my contemplative mode. I felt that for the first time I could somehow relate to Jesus, while looking at the art. So I placed myself next to my sister and tried to pray with closed eyes. The moment I started to repent, things started happening and I know that I will never forget it. My sister told me after that, that I prayed stiff like a statue for nearly 15 minutes and that she did not see me cry. But that doesn’t match how I experienced my prayer. I started crying, having visions and got informations, visual responses to my questions, I felt huge sensations, I also felt that something was put upon me, I had my first out of body experience and I could see myself from behind standing in the church but I heard no voice. Until today I’m trying to figure out what everything meant but that changed me. I don’t drink and take no drugs. So I have started to read the Bible and listen attentively to Christians. I feel that my life has changed to the better and that I missed out on so much before. I am so grateful that my eyes got opened and thank the LORD for accepting me. This is my first testimony online - ever. I did not want to do this, I had better plans, but I believe the Holy Spirit told me to. ❤Am trusting God for a fully funded scholarship for my undergraduate studies in ghana. This particular season of my life has been very challenging😢 and difficult but i trust God that nothing is too big for him to do. I started my season in 2022 allow me to share I have lacked NOTHING. He even gave me a manegerial job this year (just that it had some interruptions and He asked me to wait for another) ... He is able. Paid all my debts. Hang on to God. I have learnt to fully rely on Him this season and talk to Him daily. I met the Lord in 2019 and in that season I was still studying in college, but when the pandemic hit in 2020 I asked the Lord if I would still study again? I heard the small voice of the Holy Spirit telling me if you can't leave everything, you won't be my disciple so what I did I didn't study again I walked with faith in the Lord and now 2024 the Lord has not abandoned me in my needs every day he always provides sometimes you feel fear because you don't know what will happen because you left a lot but I know that God does not fail his promise I want to pursue my calling because this is where I have true happiness and one day all my sacrifices to the Lord will be rewarded. ❤

Whew I felt you in every part of this video. I am newer in the faith and I struggle with the relationships I currently have and trying to make new ones. I have started a women’s group at church so that has been very nice but outside of that I struggle with the friends I currently have. I love them but I deff can see how their ways of thinking don’t align and have to pray about how to navigate those relationships especially since I am newer I don’t want to be tempted or seen judgement.

I can relate to this so much. I am facing a situation now where I want to step out on faith and quit my job (except I ain't making no 6 figures LOL). I've been in corporate for almost 2 years and the path that I chose isn't choosing me. The funds aren't funding and I'm living from paycheck to paycheck - being transparent. I am scared but I got to do what I got to do. Thank you for this and I will continue to pray on my decision.

I so so appreciate this! I'm Muslim and similarly quit my job through the guidance of God. I definitely felt the first part of relying on faith but seeing that bank account go down. My bestie was like maybe what God is teaching you right now is to FULLY trust Him. So this video came at a much needed timing for me. There's a concept in Islam called rizq which is sustenance . And that doesn't mean just in form of money or income, but God gives and ease through the people around you and He will provide what He knows we need. Also the comment on the devil, so REAL. The devil comes for our weakness and where it personally can hurt us the most. So totally relate!! Excited to see what God has in store for us! Thank you for sharing what God has taught you since this reminds me of all He's done for me! Very cool to also just see how faith regardless of the labeled religion can help so many of us tackle the challenges of the world, since God is the same for us all.

Really appreciate your testimony. I’m currently in that season at the moment where God has asked me to slowly depend on him and not other things and people. Not gonna lie and say it’s been easy. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced and I believe he’s doing this because he’s trying to Izxy in my faith, but also train me with discipline and self-control. Sometimes we don’t often realize what God is preparing us for and I believe that this is. I don’t know how long the season is gonna last lol. 😂 but I can’t wait for what’s next. God told me to quit my job in Las Vegas at a prestigious casino/hotel and move down to LA without a job. That's what happened. Next thing you noticed, He provided me a job in LA and He doubled my salary!

A beautiful reminder. "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." Your point reminds me that in any friendship, boundaries are necessary, and our friendship with God is no different. There are things He really really doesn't like and He doesn't want to be around. He loves us always, but to have a quality relationship with Him, we have to respect His likes and dislikes, because or else what kind of friend are we? Hello Tolu, discovering your channel through this video and I actually can relate to your story. A bit more than a year ago, I left my family, friends, job and country (France) to move to Spain (Madrid) at 34 years old... As soon as I arrived to Spain, I started going to church (I go to Hillsong where I used to go in France as well). In parallel, I also asked to join a Connect group so I could socialize instead of fleeing church as soon as the service is over 😂. A bit more than 4 months after arriving to Madrid, I finally joined a Connect group but got disappointed when I found out it was 100% feminine as I had a strong desire to join a mixed group so I could open my circle and perhaps find a Godly man. But guess what? God knows better what we need so I prayed over it, accepted to join the group and I can tell it's the best thing that ever happened to me in Spain as the girls from my group are kind, I have a lot of fun with them, we encourage each other in our faith, support each other in the highs and lows and eventually built strong friendships. So really, the match was perfect in my case and they basically did it based on my age, location, relationship status and if you don't speak the local language, they normally make sure you can join an English speaking group. So maybe check if there's a similar church in Mexico and happy to answer your questions if you want to exchange on some tips while living abroad and etc. Have you also maybe checked if there are Christian RUclipsrs/Instagramers/TikTokers who live in the same location as you? In the meantime I'll pray for you so you can find Godly friends who share similar interests and same values 🙏🏾 Take care of you and God bless you!

More than any other group of ppl, it’s been Christians that make me feel like trash. All the gossiping, being ostracized, excluded. I’m not comparing myself to anyone but the way I’m treated by other christians, makes me not want to be one….. I gre up with an atheist single mom and the rest of my extended family was Christian and they HATED my mom and I even though I was a child. I always thought it’s because we were atheist and they were Christian. But as and adult coming to Christ myself, they still treat me like that. And I’ve noticed in my own life ppl that don’t know me of my family of origin at all, different churches different cities, they do the same thing: treat me like t some weird outsider then when I mess up like any other human they gossip and ostracize. I am hyper judged and hated. I don’t know if I can be Christian if I have to be so completely alone. I am dealing with far too much alone and at 34 I don’t see my life going anywhere. I wish I had just done stupid things and lived more more if I was going to be so harshly judged and isolated anyway. The only friends I’ve made in church were ppl who didn’t really care about me. Literally in and out of my life back to ostracizing me gossiping. I’ve never really had real friends. Sounds like you have and do, maybe lean on those still even if long distance. That’s something god hasn’t yet ever given me and it hurts alot

Amen sister let's keep fighting that good fight :) I feel you.. I live in the middle east. At my work place there aren't any Christians I have met. The division here is on community lines. I have always struggled with friendship, and the only place I find acceptance is in church and among real believers. One thing to encourage you is that Jesus is with us always, and he will not let you pass through more than what you can bear. It would be good to find an English speaking church... Are you sure there aren't any at all, even if it means a bit of travel?

One thing I'd recommend is finding out from people in the comments where they're currently located in videos that talk about Christian friendships I've tried this before sadly most people aren't in South Africa and if they are they're in another province (state) But it just might be something that leads you to a new Christian bestie 🤍

Girl, I'm right there with you. Something that's helping me in the meantime is joining online Bible studies. That way the connection I'm looking for is partially being met online as I look for Godly community in person. Have you tried looking for online community / Facebook groups etc?

The struggle is real 😓. I am so proud of you opening up about this and wanting Christian friendships and acknowledging the need for those friendships. Maybe trying different churches where there are more people your age. Difficult… yes but you are so brave at ‘putting yourself out there’. 🙏’s for lots of godly friends for you. God will give you the desires of your heart ❤️

The silence means that you're not alone with how you feel😉😂. On a serious note though: it's harder to make friends when you're older / out of the school environment. Talking about school, don't know if there's a university in your area. If so, might be a long shot, but see if they have a Christian Club. Check out whatever events they have going on...might meet post-grad students who are Christian, and closer to your age☘️

Just watched your vid when you talked about how you were quiting you job. Honestly I've been struggling so much but i thank God. So much to share but I'm telling you i almost gave up. On the calling i felt from God. Yesterday i cried like a baby i could feel mom's pain for looking at me struggle even with breathing. I was in pain. I was in the states for 3 yrs by the way I'm from Malawi, never attended college which i wished to but i believe God allowed things to happen for a purpose. Been trying so many things have never worked. Mom struggling with finances. And I'm back in the village with her but guess what she's given me this tinny blanket she was using before I came to her house and now she's just using some raps. And it's a cold season and where i am it's sooooo coooold. Every night i hold back my tears. I have to sleep dressed up. Like with socks, legens and long sleeves heavy shirt and ofcourse a hoody. My dad passed and it's crazy. I had soo much faith when i was in the states but coming back these 3 years been trying hour. Keep me in prayer. Currently just trying to find something to do here in the village that will help us to provide on the daily basis. And have no starting point. But I'm telling you it's crazy experience.
