    1:51 "The legendary coach, Usain Bolt"? Do you mean the legendary coach of Usain Bolt, Glen Mills? I stopped the video right there. Bolt isn't a coach. There's also the foot "cunt" at 0:52 when you meant "contact." You did this in another video. Either take the time to make proper videos without glaring errors like these or stop uploading them. This one is less than 3 minutes long and you couldn't check it? I'll just take you out of my recommendations. How did you get over 1,000 views with this type of quality? Smh.

    Man you have left a big part od this out, the genetic of the achylles tendon makes a huge difference in those that have a long tendon and so a more elastic one, and this is mostly present in black sprinter, let's not fool ourselves, you can train as much as tou want but you will never beat someone that has genetic on their side, cause an elastic tendon improves the gct far more than all the training can do to someone that has poor genetic from this perspective

    How about we start letting these young up & coming talents build their own name! Usain did a lot for our sport over a long period of time so we should stop using his name every time a young talent pops up. Put some respect on his name. Honor these young guys for what they're doing in their own name, and over time if they eclipse Usain's achievements then make the comparison. We love what these young guys are doing and we're very proud of them, but we honor the legends that came before.

      Not sure this is correct. Usain Bolt takes 41 strides while gout gout takes 42. He’s going to grow at least a couple of inches and if his muscle twitch remains consistent or increases, there is a decent chance to beat that record.

    @Leonidas-eu9bb Месяц назад

    This is very wrong! Dumb people repeat wrong information. But that doesn't make the info correct! Shorter GCT is not the reason for faster running speed! Faster running speed will decrease GCT! It's possible to have the shortest GCT of all athletes but sill run very slow! It's also theoretical possible to have a GCT of 1 second (yes one full second) but sill be the fastest! 😮 The true reason for increasing speed is obviously force! To move an object/mass in a direction, there has to be force in that direction! The more force and the longer it's applied, the higher the velocity will be! Middle shool physics.. The fact that GCT decrease when speed increases does mean it's the cause of it. Corelation is not causation! So what's the best thing to do to increase your running speed? Grow longer limbs or additional limbs and move those limbs faster/more powerfull! Final question. Why are you much faster with a bicycle if the GCT is infinity.. 😮 OK running and cycling are very different. But I use this to make clear that GCT is not the cause! Indeed it's anatomy and applying more force!

    • @J.J.J.J.J.J.J
      @J.J.J.J.J.J.J Месяц назад

      Imagine if GCT was 10 seconds, could you still be the fastest? Imagine we produce the same power, but my GCT is 0.1 seconds and yours is 1 second, who is going to be fastest? Now think about human limitations and why GCT is important (unless you are super-human and can produce massive forces with a 1s GCT... which you're not).

    • @ImuBozu
      @ImuBozu Месяц назад

      Then you need more pressure in each step on top of a better stride if you have shorter GCT

    • @Leonidas-eu9bb
      @Leonidas-eu9bb Месяц назад

      @@J.J.J.J.J.J.J I just tried to explain that GCT is only a effect of speed and contact length. CT = contact length / running velocity. Contact length is the distance that the COM moves during foot contact. And it's highly related to limb length. So you can try to decrease GCT by increasing your turnover or getting stiffer at contact but it's absolutely possible to not run faster. The only option is to apply a high horizontal impulse (force x time) at the same or a faster rate! This will make you faster wich will decrease the GCT the following stride. So a shorter GCT is the result of the acceleration from the previous step.

    • @J.J.J.J.J.J.J
