Bench top rapid tool mount
Example of my rapid tool mount on my workbench.
The example shows an install of a quick vise.
I use similar mounts for an arbor press and for two different ammunition reloading presses.
The mount plate is made of two layers of 3/4" plywood glued together with the top and bottom perimeters rounded over using a trim router and a 1/8" round over bit.
Unfortunately when I made my first mount plate and drilled the holes in the workbench, I did not make the hole pattern symmetrical. This means I cannot easily layout holes in a new plate but instead I have to trace hole locations from any of the existing plates. I regret this issue but I'm not about to redrill all the holes and reinstall the T nuts ...

Cardboard Hot Box

DIY Hot Box made from a cardboard box, a hair dryer, a couple of bungie cords and a pair of 3D printed anchor tabs. I use it for drying cleaned rifle/pistol brass for reloading or for drying spray painted parts or drying anything that needs a hot/dry location.

My DIY Bee Vacuum based on a cordless RYOBI leaf blower, a 5 gallon pail and 3D parts of my own design The Ryobi leaf blower cost me $20 off of Kijiji and the bucket was $3.00. Halloween Smoke Machine Box

Today I build a simple open ended, sloped top plywood box to protect my smoke machine from the worst of the elements during Halloween. Made from rough 1/2" plywood all the cuts were made at the Halifax Makerspace (halifaxmakerspace.org) while assembly was done at home using my improvised clothes washer workbench.

What happened to the volume .?
Good question. I have to jack the volume up on my own Mac to hear what I'm saying. I don't recall the volume being that low but I can't be sure it it's always been that way.
