    You know you said you know nothing about hydraulics I have a log splitter like that and it is leaking oil from the front all of a sudden that's why I downloaded your video but you did not even show how you took the cylinder apart which pretty much makes your video worthless to me I mean it looks pretty easy to replace those o-rings that's obvious how you took a cylinder apart

  • @kebo57
    @kebo57 9 дней назад

    Well damn, you skipped over the most interesting part... how did you get the rod and rear piston out? Btw, that 119 engraved into that piston equals 4.648", so that just may be the OD of that piston? I have the exact same CountyLine log splitter as you have, and I'm planning to replace the seals on my 22Ton log splitter pretty soon so I will measure the OD on the piston on mine when I get it out just to see if my theory is correct. Here's a tip, instead of looking for the right size piece of wood to use at the 25:30 mark, just grab a second hammer and use it to drive the wooden handle of the first hammer in your hand (by hitting it on the metal head). You're welcome!! Btw, you're correct that the screw and flat washer that go into the piston on the end of the cylinder is there to keep that piston from going into the cylinder too far. It's a good idea to use some blue (242) loctite on that screw, so it doesn't vibrate loose. TSC doesn't offer the 22 ton model anymore because it got replaced by the 25 ton FAST model. Anyway, good job, and great video. Thanks!

    Won’t they be mushy?

    • @HodgePodgeHoosiers
      @HodgePodgeHoosiers 3 месяца назад

      I thought that too. That is why I do the raw pack method. After pressure canning, they are technically done, so when dropping down in oil, just be careful, let them start turning light brown on one side before stirring. They fry up very well for me. Another way I use these fries is when I need to make a potato casserole for a gathering. I just cut them up smaller and then throw the other ingredients in a dish and bake. It cuts down on use of the oven 🙂Thanks for watching!
