Honestly after finally playing Bayo Orgins, having faeries as the enemies in the 3rd Bayo would've made A lot more sense then an interdimensional A.I. especially with Lukaon and Viola being tied to them, shame.

For the past week i've been playing this game for the first time i went with the assumption that Bayonetta 3 is the grown up Cereza from Bayo 1, as description for Love is Blue and Scarborough Fair seem to suggest as much. But then i kept getting confused with little details like the Chapter 1 opening cutscene where she was holding the totems from the past two games (The Bayonetta boardgame piece and Loki's cards) So this video helped me understand it a bit better, but it's a little disappointing that this Bayonetta was in fact the same one...

The concept of a mutliverse is an overused, trash writing mechanic plaguing games and other media. Somehow, MtG makes it work but theyre starting to stretch its limits now by always trying to write staple characters into unrelated realm

While playing this game I kept imagining a different story for it, in which instead of 'Singularity' (who I feel nothing about), the real main antagonist and mastermind behind everything would be Bayonetta herself, or rather one from a universe in which she is a Lumen Sage, with all the powers it implies. This other Bayonetta would be the polar opposite of the one we know, Bald (no hair), Modestly Dressed, stil cheeky but in an order kind of way, as opposed to chaos, one who controls angels instead of demons. Man, I'd love that.

In addition to the fairies. We almost always find a port to the realm of the fairies in both Bayo 1 and 2

One elegant way to save the story is to start the next game as the Bayonetta from the 3rd game who is trying to escape from hell. She went to hell at the end of the 3rd part and just as Jeanne in the 2nd game, there's a way to escape from that place. She's of course very weak after the end of 3 so usually she wouldn't be able to fight the demons on her own but Luka is with her who can kill demons with a single slash. So the gameplay could be a bit like Cereza and the Lost Demon with Bayonetta in a weaked state and Luka as Strider protecting her while they try to find a way out of Hell while Bayonetta slowly getting stronger and stronger again. They could even meet Jeanne's soul from the 2nd game and have a conversation (which also explains why she suddenly knows about this whole danger of the world in the first place). And they could bring back Viola who is trying to find a way to save her parents and also enters hell through the gates on the mountain of game 2. At least that's how I would continue the story.

I feel bad for Rakunx. The series is being disemboweled before our eyes and he still holds onto hope.

Honestly the best thing Nintendo could've done was having multiple endings, one where brave Bayonetta dies, one where she doesn't and maybe another one or two.

Even crazier concept...There is just one Bayonetta and she just changes her style from game to game and the overall plot is something you can actually follow without watching a 2 hour breakdown. Is that too ott?

A friend of mine had the theory that the first playthrough is bayo 1, the harder playthrough is bayo 2 and jeans story is world of arch eve. So those 3 levels are separate entirely, since you get different outfits after each playthrough.

They wanted to be DMC V but weren't good enough writers to be DMC V and also didn't have enough build up to be DMC V.

What really pissed me off was the lack of Jeanne in the game her not being included in the story mode over viola, her always dying when she's bayo "equal" and for crying out loud the trash mini games...they really crapped on her when viola moveset and everything is just a waste, her throwing dumb ass darts and the rock star sign that ended kill zones was horrible ... Viola was the problem she irritating lol

I really "hate" like burning passion hate they made the whole love arc thing. Bayonetta doesn't need someone to protect her she was always this person who had to stand up and fight for what she thought was right. Luka was supporting her throughout the story that's it Jenn was there as a girl bestie who would go through hell and back for her. I don't understand the whole adding love portion when it was fine as it is. Bayo was always this crazy and wild lady that could pull all kinds of shit of. That's why she was so strong because she was someone who stood by her own beliefs.

Just like DMC or GOW dying is little consequence for our heroes. I know Bayonetta can get out of inferno.

Easy way to fix: eradicate everything from Bayo 3. No Luka as love interest. No Viola. No multiverse. No demon masquerade. No little Cereza as a protagonist. Give us our Bayonetta (the one and only from 1&2). Respect for Jeanne. Weapons for hands and feet. And Bayo as she was in 1&2: mature, sassy and not childish. Also better graphics, Bayonetta 2's was good as it was.

This is 10000 times better, and i hope they'll do a remake of Bayonetta 3. Im ready to forget all that happened just for this. Even tho the others Bayonetta we're cool too

Im sorry but this is why i didnt play the game this is not the ending i wanted. It breaks my heart and i love bayo. Im obsessed ever since i was 16. I played bayo 1 and 2 religiously. UGH i cant.

Great video with really great points and solutions, unfortunately I don't think they'd ever consider listening to fans for ideas of solutions to a franchise that's (in their opinion) not broken. Am I the only one who really REALLY hates Violas design?? If Cereza is gone permanently and they want to continue with Viola I'm never buying another Bayonetta title... The first Bayonetta is still to this day one of my top 5 games of all time, 2 was not bad in any way either just not quite as good as the first, and now 3, I had it on my wishlist but when I saw some gameplay by Maximillian I realised the Switch was holing the game back performance wise and also the overall story just as explained in this video is nothing but a total mess and I think the damage is too severe for them to recover from, so for me I'll probably just replay 1 & 2 and be happy with that.

I will never like Bayonetta and Luka. Regardless of whether it was "planned," the relationship doesn't work at all. Bayo and Jeanne always had more chemistry.
