THE NEW EYES OF BAYONETTA 3 BOOK MAY HAVE JUST CONFIRMED THAT CEREZA IS ALIVE, and one of reddit user by the name of Froppyx, love your name btw, you the real MVP, just brought these revolutionary scans about Cereza. Coupling it with a BRAND NEW THEORY on this channel separate from this video, 3, 2, 1!
Remember this photograph that you do get at the end of the game, who I thought to be Jeanne who dyed her hair black, which is now debunked, as Froppyx confirms it to be Luka, and it does seem like it with the whole attire. Giving us this beautiful 1080p scan! Congratulations on the people who predicted it to be Luka!!
So when Rodin ported that statement of him talking to Viola’s dad, it was real, and not some “rolling in his grave” metaphor that I initially thought it to be.
As you do see Viola wearing that scarf, this takes place after the events of Bayonetta 3 when Viola casually sports it. But you don’t see Brave Cereza’s glasses on her. So what if this was taken prior the last chapter?
I think that would be a smoother explanation rather than just rewriting that Luka can traverse the Trinity of Realities even after being taken down there. Which means there would be no issues for Brave Cerzea coming back.

The only problem I had with the whole “They are all instantly alive”, is why did they have to portray them in such an emotional death and finale, playing with Viola’s and our hearts like that, if they were just going to come back anyway?
The proper troll with a character’s supposed death would’ve been like with Glenn during the dumpster bin scene where I believe it was a whole 3 weeks before we saw him crawl under the bin.
Before those three weeks, there was no body shown, because in pop culture nowadays, you have to literally see the character’s body die to confirm it.
In Bayonetta 3, we see Brave Cereza’s watch break, and both of them being dragged to hell in such an emotional and musical manner. We even see Viola crying about it.
Which now that I think about it, if we did it for Jeanne in Bayonetta 2’s timeline, what’s stopping us from doing it for the next game? It’s just they ended it making us wait potentially 2-4 years for the next mainline continuation.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from playing all the Bayonetta games, it’s that Kamiya is wild and unpredictable. He’s probably planned out something none of us ever thought of. Also it would be insane is Bayonetta 3 ended up being a dream.

jeanne was able to be saved because her umbran clock wasn't destroyed. ceraza was "put of out commision" because her clock broke. but in the same breath, rodin did say that if she ever kick the bucket, he would be all over bayonetta like a pack of hyenas. maybe it's implied he was gonna protect her soul and save it or made her into a weapon like Alraune? fucked up ik but it's a possibility

One of my theories is that Luka and Cereza (if they are both still alive) teleported into the Avalon forest and did not go to hell , that’s why they both were glowing like that . And with the new generation thing , maybe Cereza lost her magic partially or fully and will somehow re lern them from the fairies or maybe her magic will base on fairies. Idk but I love this mess honestly

I think the “heart” is a metaphor for its preservation power. It keeps witches from aging but it was created for the witch, it didn’t birth the witch though. If that was the case, Viola would have one.
@@ryanjohnson781 they're probably given when an umbra witch either makes there first demon contrat(which viola hasn't done) or finish there umbran training(which she also hasn't done)
Honestly With how Bayonetta is on good terms with Butterfly she's probably safe-ish down there, well as safe as a Umbral witch could be
I almost can imagine how the trailer for a Bayonetta 4 could begin : being pretty vague about everything, finally showing Viola in distress and then out of nowhere "you really thoughts you’ve seen the last of me ?" XD
Concept. In Bayonetta 4 we play as Bayonetta 1 & 2 as well as Viola. All three of them are on a quest to rescue Cerezita from Inferno only to realise that she is with Luka in the Faerie Forest and must craft a new Umbra Watch for her. This will make it a true sequel to both Bayonetta 1 & 2 and give Viola a great amount of character building and more time with the players. We’ll also get more screen time with ‘our’ Bayonettas.
They could have repeated what they did in Bayonetta 2 by finding the actual Gates of Inferno to retrieve her soul, but I don't think that's possible. Jeanne's watch remained in one piece throughout Bayonetta 2, while Brave Cereza's was broken. I think that plays a part in why we can't have Viola or anyone else venturing back to Inferno. Maybe there's a way to restore an Umbra Witch's watch?
At this point, I don't really have faith in Kamiya to carry the story any further in the series.
He seems to be the kind of guy who just introduces plot points whenever he wants and expects them to fit into the story and also gives off the "trust me guys, it does, just read the lore!" vibes of a writer who is well on over his head.
Is he unpredictable? Yeah, but not in the good way.
the eye of bayo 3 kinda confirmed thats exactly what happened, it even confirmed kamiya knew people wouldnt like lukas role and direction and ship, the story was gonna be completely different from what we have, and that they say at the table and threw ideas up

Hoping that mainline bayo (who I consider to be the bayo from the first and second game. I don’t think they’re separate timelines. I think the Bayonetta 2 in third game is from the ROT intro of said game, kinda like how brave Cereza is in the ROT of Bayonetta one) is asked to help Cereza by Viola, that way we ge the og Bayonetta back and she can interact with everyone else we see in the third game
My prediction for Bayonetta 4: Jeanne, Viola and all other variants we encountered in 3 (+French Rosa and Egyptian Jeanne) will help/align with the resurrection.

I have no idea whats going in with the franchise anymore. lol I feel like they went wild with the idea of the story, and now theyre trying to subtly backtrack since people didnt like the ending. But we won't know until the next game and Cereza is either no where to be found or she's alive and present.

My personal theory is that ,after I did my own vision of haw things may go,I came to realize something ,No matter what happens Cereza can still be saved if a new watch can be made ,I imagine that the madama of Rosa promised rosa on there contract that if her cereza ever die she will help her arise from inferno
Regardless I feel like PG are way to smart to work on sumthing for 7+years just to come up with this ,hinst the bayo Origins that are coming very soon so we know they have things planned ahead from the start map out the future of bayo

The "it was planned all along" has a slight bit of basis in "We Are As One", ironically since although it's a typical thing, they do literally say stuff like "we will live again" "we will claim back the skies" and "we'll be coming back again" among other similar lines, which is also interesting since it isn't "we are still alive". Maybe we WILL have a rescue mission? :o

I like to think with the multiverse restored, not every Bayonetta variants were restored. I like to think at least the Bayonetta 2 variant is restored because she is my favorite.
For a possible Bayonetta 4, they might do two stories, one with a new variant and one for Viola, but we'll have to wait and see.
Can't wait for Bayonetta Origins. Just preordered it today.
What is stopping Cereza from being saved is her broken watch, she no longer has her witch powers, and the watch was used to reunite Jeanne to her body in Bayo 2
Maybe there's a way to fix the watch? We didn't see it completely shatter but it did have many cracks. And the Umbras probably have some sort of technique to fixing it when necessary that they may have left behind

Bayonetta really does have a “Mysterious destiny” the future game could feature bayonetta so “tomorrow’s ( the next game ) hers”.
I think they'll pull a Dante. Dante went to hell seemingly forever but it ended up with him back in the mortal world in the next game. In this case, he went down in 2 was back in 4 because the whole DMC timeline is out of order. It goes 3, 1, 2, 4, then 5. So, with that being said, it seems that way. I need to stop pulling parallels between the two lol.
I'm pretty sure 4 happens before 2 because there is a manga of DMC 5 where Dante says that after he beat Argosax a portal opened and he ended up back on the island with Lucia and Matier. He defeated Balrog who was attacking and thats how he has him in 5 and not in 4 if 2 happened before.
It's canon that 2 happened before 4. In 5 he's down there again at the end, albeit with Vergil this time. We can discuss all day the timeline order but one thing's clear we'll see him again if they make a 6. I don't know if it's likely they will but that's why I said if.

Dante and Bayonetta are basically parallels to each other at least that's how I see it. Dante is able to cancel out Witch Time using Quicksilver. However, since obtaining Sin Devil Trigger, I do believe that Dante may be the only character that can go toe to toe with Bayonetta. In terms of power, Bayonetta could put up a fight but Dante's at least 5 steps ahead of her. Any demon she pulls out will likely fall because Dante's hunted demons for years. Bayonetta is a strong female but that doesn't mean she's able to hold up against a Legendary Demon Hunter. I'm not favoring one over the other I've played Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. Now if we're talking about the Kaiju demons Bayonetta summons, maybe it would go in her favor but Dante's got so many tricks (styles) I don't know. It could end in a draw for all I know.

I feel like they probably are both alive. I just finished the game tonight and it did do some of the feels of the trope of, hero did epic journey to save the day and when the day was saved, it went back to that some point and time but the difference that were made stayed, so vaola stayed and the universe went back to normal.
I honestly wouldn't be surprise if both of them were alive and this whole story was just to introduce a new character

Honestly guys, every since my first play thu, I never thought Cerza and Luka were dead. I mean... No one has ever been pulled down to hell glowing in blue light... However we know Lucan does.. Glow in blue light.. So in my mind Luka went with her for the very reason he says at the end of the game. Luka " I now know what I am supposed to do" My job is to make sure that you get to where you are supposed to go!!" So no. If they are in inferno, we're probably going to have to save Cerza now. Or maybe not. I just hope we get a new game and not in 5 or 6 yrs either

There is not much to indicate that she did not die or that she was not going to, but they were closed to the idea that in some way they would prevent her death or she would revive, they do not create a Bayomom and put her together with a silly Furry to leave her Dead; they will put her to play to the little house, which is what they have been looking for since game 1. What are those idiots she hooked up to do without her and picked up from the trash? After all, now two of them are fairies and the party wouldn't be complete without the Bayomon I already mentioned.
I always saw the ending for artistic purposes to represent growth in the characters without further ado... Bayonetta is a lot of Bayonetta and she's just beginning to shine (for the masses) after having gone through hiccups throughout the reception of her previous games.. They wouldn't kill her.

2. Ginnungagap seemingly has returned.

presumably that specific Cereza is an older version of the child we see in bayonetta 1. In the opening cutscene to chapter 12, Adult Cereza gives her child counterpart a single red ribbon to tie her umbran watch around her neck. Meaning the the young bayonetta is likely the same as the Bayonetta from 1.
I think the exact phenomena is called a temporal loop but essentially it's an infinte cycle of adult Cereza has a red ribbon which she gives to child Cereza who then grows into adult Cereza to then repeat the loop of giving the ribbon to her child self.
Luca can travel though trinity might be have something to do with fairies, fairies still a big mistery in this game, we dont know anything about their power so far and Lukaon seems to have the ability to travel through multiverse, maybe fairies can travel though trinity? Maybe Luka master that power thats why he can come back to the world of chaos, if it is, it will be so predictable

Here is my theory: Bayonetta will come back, buuuut as an Infernal Demon and Viola is gonna tame it and form an unlikely relationship like she did with Cheshire (assuming Bayonetta isn't herself anymore). Luka was never meant to go to inferno so I think he might be able to leave when he wants to, but also rather likes to stay by Bayonetta's side. The next enemies in Bayonetta 4 will be either Ghosts, Fairies or Demons. Demons are just a speculation, but fairies and ghosts are likely (fairies due to Luka, Viola and Spin off and ghosts because final cutscene before the cool dance and Dark Adam/Eve). Weird theory, but I think that could excuse Bayonetta's return a bit better. Idk about Jeanne though. I think she stays dead or maybe might be the main villain in the next game. She was a member of G.O.R.C who created Singularity in the first place. I think maybe the reason why Singularity turned out the way he did was maybe because of Alphaverse Jeanne who turned evil for some reason.
I wonder if Jeanne could be alive in the Brave Universe too and create maybe an altered version of singularity who helps out Viola in her next adventure. Maybe like a smaller kid like version with a bit of a cocky attitude and weaker powers. I think that would be the new 'kid' that is in every Bayonetta game (Cereza, Loki, Viola) and instead of motherhood it's more like a sibling theme this time. Evil Alphaverse Jeanne could maybe also have a motherhood theme with Singularity and the Jeanne that is still alive in Brave Universe can have a similar relationship with Kid Singularity. It goes out of hand, but hey it's just a theory...A GAME THEORY
I'm hoping you either go to hell and save Cereza there, or somehow Viola makes a contract with Cereza and uses her as a new summon. Something like that
i was just reading the books and things in game and realIed a lot of the demons form in inferno from like real beings, animals humans etc. and basically inferno twists and manipulates them into the demons we all know, so that makes me wonder if they might do something along those lines of having luka and/or bayo become demons and be a part of the game in that way

I think this Bayonetta Origins game is going to reveal that Cereza has some power other than the infernal demons (fae?) and this power saves her from actually being sent to inferno. Her and Luka were glowing as they went down and Cereza changed from spirit back to human form before hand.
Fae are not demons as stated in game they are probably creatures that exists in Purgatorio itself
