i did the same steps in three different liquid tutorials now with version 4.2 and there is no liquid flowing at all. what a waste of time.

For everyone who does not have liquid flowing after all the actions done: as I understand it, it's about the size of the liquid source itself, and not in absolute size, but in size, relative to the cube, which is the domain. Personally, in my case, as soon as the source became 1/15 of the height of the cube (domain), the water poured out. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I hope it helps someone.

for those whose animation is not working ---> go to the shading editor ----> step 1 ) first of all select the 0 frame (starting of ur animation) step 2 ) under MAPPING change the location value (like in this video it was along x axis) step 3 ) add keyframe by pressing "i" being in the shader editor step 4 ) now go to the last frame of ur animation (example : 100) step 5 ) again go to shading editor and again change the location under MAPPING , set any value u want with respect to your axis step 6 ) insert a new keyframe by pressing "i" being in the shader editor play the animation , NOTE : u need only 2 keyframes or only i don't now about that but this worked for me :) , ^ _ ^
