Who Holds The Fastest Tennis Serve Record? (Debatable)
Просмотров 5 тыс.Год назад
Who has hit the fastest serve in tennis history? The answer to that question may seem straightforward but it isn’t. For example if you Google "fastest serve of all time" you get different answers. Most of them say Australian Sam Groth has the fastest serve ever and Guiness World Record, but there are many articles saying American John Isner has hit the fastest serve. So who holds the record and...

Rafa's heavy spin is the one-of-a-kind and strongest forehand. I admit that it is less effective indoors and on grass. But the angles and stability that that spin produces, and the ability to defend against shallow falls that don't let you attack, are the most important abilities needed today. And in clay... You'll know it when you see it.

Dominance is part of greatness, failed at the start. Federer 2006 season is the greatest season ever played by a man not only he won 12 titles and had insane win loss record of 92-5, level of tennis play he displayed was insane, he played in the final of 16/17 tournaments, mixing female tennis with men is nonsense because Steffi Graf would not win a single tournament if she played with men... so females should be their own category. Only thing correct here is Steffi season is best female season ever played. Federer 2006 season or 2005 81-4 are better then any season djokovic ever played

@@sayeksofian 70-6, 10 titles and 82-6 11 titles Federer 2006 season 92-5, 12 titles, played in 16/17 tournament finals, Federer played more matches, had more wins, less losses, and won more titles 😎, its not even close

@@RealisticAndTrue yeah djokovic won the bigger titles masters 1000 - 82-6 record, 11 titles, 3 grand slams (4 finals), Record 6 Masters 1000 titles, 31 wins over top 10 ranked players (record) Think about this for a moment. Djokovic made the Finals in every top tier event he entered that season (8 Masters, 4 GS, and ATP Finals). If he hadn't skipped Madrid, there's a very good chance that he would have made the Finals in every top tier tournament that season. I have a hard time seeing that accomplishment being matched and certainly not being broken anytime in the near future.

i remember some WTA player that recently said in a instagram question/answer session that a match is a match and its normal that you do everything for the win. for me ostapenko is maybe the most entertaining person, and thats one of the reasons im a fan of her. its really much more fun watching her rather than one of those players with a ice-cold-face who even cant smile or shout out "come on" after a good point. besides of that, ostapenko is also a nice person - for example at kasatkinas girlfriend videos shes often in and interviewed and she is humble, honest and polite.

If bandaging, a wrapping or band aid, Water, banana, Gatorade, sugar, WON'T DO IT, personally I'm against it. All these Technological and Medical Advances they didn't have 50-60 years ago, shouldn't be allowed today. If you get cramps, or blisters, or your hand, back, Knee, elbow, Foot hurts, OH WELL then so be it, That's part of the game, you tough it out or bow out. Part of the game is the endurance and stamina component. Wearing your opponent down is part of the game, if then He/she can take an Injection (invasive procedure), that defeats one of the purposes of Tennis. What's next? Suspending a Match because one of the players suffered from Dehydration because he/she didn't take care of their body?

Athletes can be entertaining when they are sore losers and ungracious winners. They’re competitors. But we can also admire those with poise, stoicism, and self-control. Sport is big enough to offer both and everything in between. Besides, its really the story we want, the struggle, the glory, the pain, the humour, the human frailty, the awe inspiring strength. Bring it all on, I say.

3 months ago when you published this video Djokovic had more weeks as number 1 than Graf which you forgot to mention. You mentioned only for Graf the number of weeks at number one as if she were a record holder. Graf is forgotten because she is the queen of weak eras with old Navratilova and Evert and stabbed Seles. Beating Zvereva with double bagel says it all. Because of that I think you should make different videos for men's and women's tennis because it is not the same. Putting Federer and Djokovic last behind Court and who won 11 AO when only Australians competed there is nonsense. Men's tennis is more competitive and more difficult to win a GS.
