Part 1 was so magical....it felt special. A great intro to the FF7 remake game I gotta say. I really hope Part 3 finishes strong and is better than Part 1, or better than Part 1 + 2 combined.

I like how she actually says thank you in Japanese, basically means the same thing, but it's so much more powerful and meaningful in my mind

Remember that before this scene you have to kill your own aeons, Anima and bahamut was not easy to kill

JENOVA LIFE THEME

Being a FF7 fan I had to play the remake. When I heard those first keys, my heart stopped. Aerith's theme always breaks me.

Its that "I love you" that was Yuna's way of saying to please not leave but Tidus staring in sadness that signifies that he literally had no choice. In the end Yuna eventually gets him back because it was the Fayth's way of thanking her.

This game will always be a masterpiece for new and returning players like myself 😢. This part will make a grown man cry.

I got PTSD with "that moment" from FF7 once I heard those first couple of keys....😢

In all honesty, being a father, that "high five" with Jecht right at the end....just perfection.

Yaaaaaay still doing my first playthrough and looked up something completely unrelated to this (vs the blue hair guy after he shows his bad side) and i get spoiled. Love the internet. :) *internal screaming*

When a was a child and played this game so many years ago she was my first platonic love, i really love this game and this scene give me chills

In the original Japanese PS2 version, Yuna doesn't say, "I love you." Instead she says, "Thank you."

I haven't played Rebirth yet, but if they don't play this during THAT scene, I will be very upset. That moment in the original is for me why hearing it here like this kicks me right in the feels.

If you do not cry at the end of this game you have no feelings whatsoever, i cried when i first played it aged 39 and i cried again at nearly aged 54 im supposed to a Man lol

Even now, when I replay through the game and get to this moment in it, I have to stop and cry as if on command. Aeris (pls don't, that was her name in my og copies. Let it go), was probably the one gal I would have gone through all of that for. To paraphrase from Cole Phelps when he was morally done with a suspect in LA Noire, "She was a sweet ol' lady, who never hurt anyone except maybe herself. I hope you'll have some peace in the afterlife, since I wouldn't." She was if anything, _MORE_ of a precious being in the remake, and if things unfold the way I hope they do, I really hope we don't have to meet the original game's fate. She deserves so much better. 💔😭

The scene in the OG was the first time I cried over a video game. Every time I hear her theme, I get misty eyed. Playing through Remake, I was crying again, full on waterworks.

Nxyipuffs reaction is probably the most brutal to watch. If you've ever watched a glass vase fall and smash into a thousand pieces thats what that looked like.

The part that got me the most is when Titus tries to talk and just can't he can't even say goodbye properly 😭😭😭

When the first notes starting playing, tears started coming down. Final Fantasy 7 was one of the first JRPGS i had played as a kid and will forever be my favorite game of all time

If you played the original as a child and if you didn't cry when Aerith died, you need to seek a therapist.

I distinctly remember playing this with my headphones on, and my wife was sitting next to me doing something on her computer (she isn't a gamer in the least) and I heard that tune and I basically started tearing up. She saw me doing that and I basically had to explain that "you just kinda had to know" why that would be such a gut punch. Shes a great woman though and just gave me a hug. I don't care. I have no shame in expressing emotions.

I played this game when I was in middle school and I was still too naive about everything especially about love, so I wasn't sad about the ending of this game. But when I got older and saw the ending of this game after a long time.. damn.. it turned out to be really sad and painful!

Its remind me of the materia dropping ..

These 3 notes only have meaning if they do what they have to do in FF7 Rebirth in the Forgotten Capital.

I've always wanted to play FF7, but never had access. This video has convinced me that I NEED to play it. Anything that can cause that kind of reaction with three piano notes is worth playing.

I used to play the original as a kid every weekend with my cousin who passed away in a car accident leaving work. When this part came up I ended up crying, right next to my fiancé. It brought back so many good memories, I had never spoken about him to her, but I did that day. He was like a brother to me. Final Fantasy 7 is a part of all of us who played it.
