It's so fabulous! I took some of my fall/winter wardrobe out of storage and this vest was at the top of the list. I can't wait to start wearing it again.

You are welcome. My waist is wider than my hips, so I usually have to size up with pants and then alter them to fit me. I'm a firm believer in the idea that your clothes should fit you rather than you trying to fit the clothes.

You do really find the best and most unique pieces with thrifting. And yes, it's been getting harder to find vintage in the thrift stores. I go to a lot of vintage markets and tend to find my vintage there. You do pay a bit more for the pieces though.

An outfit that I wore on repeat this summer. Thank you. I definitely lean into the maximalist vibe for home decor. However, I haven't been able to really decorate in my last couple of places since they are only temporary. My next place will be a house that I purchase (fingers crossed), and I'm going to have so much fun decorating it.

@@TheRELMCo We rented for 17 years. I was so lucky the landlord let me do anything. Now we own and I am having so much fun. We are using the guidelines of gifted, thrifted, inherited, or handmade. I find limits make me so much more creative.

@@wendyduncan9084 Agreed! I love that mindset and the creativity. Plus, it makes your space unique. I have an affinity for antiques. I was recently in Portland and went to an antique market, where I found the most beautiful crystal lamp. I'm excited to own and decorate a place with my lovely finds. I also DIY, so I'm excited for the space for that. 🥰

I LOVE small-town thrifting! You usually find the most unique pieces (which are my favorite). I've started a project with the purple Gingham but haven't completed it yet.
