Welcome to Charlotte! Some other thrifting options include : Matthews Help Center, Value Village, The Assistance League, Zab's Place in Matthews, Community Thrift on Freedom Dr, and Servant's Heart in Mint Hill. Don't miss the Goodwill Boutique ( more upscale) on South Blvd and the Second Editions...also a Goodwill store with fancier clothing. Happy thrifting!

Welcome to the Carolinas! This August is being very kind with her weather. My favorite thrift shop is in Kershaw, SC. About an hour south of of Charlotte. It’s called the Exchange. I got a Lane full leather love seat for $12.50! Beautiful color too. They don’t put out any clothing that is stained or ripped. I’ve found great vintage pieces and wonderful men’s sweaters. Small town thrifting is definitely cheaper than downtown. Have you made anything with the gingham yet?

I will add the Exchange to my list of places to check out; it sounds like the pricing and quality are incredible. I LOVE small-town thrifting! GOTTA GET SOMEONE IN HERE TO GIVE THE HOUSE A GREAT CLEAN, THEN REPLACE EVERYTHING BACK IN ORDER FROM RECOVERING FROM A 7-MONTH-OLD SEWAGE FLOOD! THEY JUST LEFT ME WITH A BIG MESS AND I CAN'T PUT IT BACK TOGETHER ON MY OWN. UNBOXED THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND PUT THINGS IN THE WRONG ROOMS. THE COMPANY WAS TERRIBLE. I'M IN A MESS. JUST WASHING FILTHY, SPILLED TEA SHEETS FIRST TIME SINCE THEY LEFT TODAY AND LOADS TO GO BEFORE ALL COVERS SHEETS AND PILLOWCASES ARE STAINS OF TEA COMING OUT! BUT HERE I AM LYING IN BED BECAUSE I WAS DYING IN PAIN. BUT GOTTA GET UP. FINISH WASHING/DRYING AND MAKING AN EGG, AVACADO, FRESH SPINACH, ONION TOMATO, AND COTTAGE CHEESE TORTILLA FOR MY DINNER.
