Probably the worst car review I’ve ever seen

Thank you for uploading but just a note, this was a bit of an amateur review and misinformed, E.g the buttons in the boot are to fold up and down, not backwards and forwards as the rear seats on this version don’t even have the functionality to go backwards and forwards, you had childlock on with the rear doors….it wasn’t a fault of the RR and couple of other things. Just a polite note to probably do more research beforehand next time.

This will be my next car. For me best looking SUV and also super practical, amazing all around.

I have to say I do like tactil buttons and switches it means you can actually carry out an operation or change a function while you are driving with using just touch. This is not possible on a touchscreen so that is good work from Lexus

Why do you sound so unimpressed by what is actually a really well built reliable car. you also said this car compared to range rover isnt as good. Its not in the same market sector and the Range Rover is a whole lot more. that competes with Q7 bmw X7 etc. Also the reliability is way better compared to land Rover. Look up the figures. Most people dream of owning a car like this but cant. the Gle is an awesome machine and has prescence. its not a range rover its unique and better than an x5 for famlies with kids

You forgot to mention how this will outlast any of the cars you mentioned.. countless times over..

I have had several Lexus cars, my current one is a Lexus RC300h f sport. I can’t fault the reliability and service given by the Lexus dealers. Reviewers never given a balanced view, they have vehicle for a day or less, and so often they don’t know how the vehicle fully works.

This car actually uses 2.9 Litre.

Having owned many Bentley, Porsche, Mercedes AMG, Aston Martin etc. over fifty years of motoring, I've come back to the Lexus brand with an LC500 Sport Plus. My first Lexus was in 1991/2/3 in the shape of the LS400's & even an SC400 Soarer. 130 cars later, I still can't believe how beautifully built the Lexus LC500 is let alone what a total peach it is to look at (inside & out) and of course drive. If I had a fiver for evertime I caught somone just staring and admiring the design and saying "I've never seen one before", I'd have quite a few free fill-ups. It's not the fastest or the best handler but with everything else going for it, who cares? If you do, then move along.....

Such nasty colors exterior wise for $200k. You can tell a very old white man drives this

I actually own this very car. It is even better than the review here. Couple of things you missed were the electric charging port and a more in depth review of the MMI and navigation. The integration with the Audi app has also improved to allow for a lot on remote interaction including sending navigation destinations from phone to car. The way the navigation also shows the electric only range is also very neat. Since this version of the Q8 is a plug in hybrid, you should have spent longer on the functionality associated with that as it provides a lot of options. Last point is you didn't have the dealership's or Audi's permission to do this review and they are now aware of it.

Easily the best SUV around, I swapped my RR sport for this and never looked back. RR cant compete when it comes to the MB luxury.

So British and backward. Overall they've lost the plot by losing all of their brands the few remaining to the Germans and Indians. Lexus is hugely respected in the US for top quality and reliability. Land Rover and Range Rover are poor in reliability data even after being saved by Tata of India who invested billions in them and Jaguar to improve quality and reliability. Check JD Power and Consumer Reports data which analyzes 700, 000 cars a year. Another Brit reviewer said on RUclips that they have never heard of Infiniti which is the luxury brand from Nissan the 2nd largest car manufacturer in the UK. Very poor impression of British reviewers and brands.
