Surprised your toppings for your yogurt was from one spoon, the FA’s should use one spoon for each topping. Ir's a good thing you paid with miles because your meal choices were questionnable. Next time wine and more wine. Last time I flew Business with United they actually served wagyu beef and it was great with red wine. I still remember that steak.

There was a huge delay in with starlux in Bangkok. I’d paid for premium economy but somehow lost my original seat on the flight from Taipei to SFO. I seated next to a lovely woman with a 15 month old baby. A bassinet was placed across the front so I had a lot of difficulty accessing any personal space . The delightful baby would not sleep in the bassinet so I did end up using it for my water and other personal items. Had I known I was going to have this situation I certainly would not have paid a premium. Another mention is that the seats were very difficult to adjust. All in all I was not impressed as I don’t feel I actually got what I was expecting.

Lack of detail review of the Star Alliance lounge! No comments/reviews on the bar, bathroom, shower if any, etc. you might not drink but doesn’t mean viewers are not interested. You showed us your breakfast on a plate, it would have been better to show the actual selections and not what you like. We don’t all eat the same food. Just some suggestions to make your vlog meaningful

Alaska is chronically bad about printing partner airline boarding passes! They've gotten me stuck in YVR's international transit area before because they couldn't print a Cathay Pacific boarding pass in Seattle.

if you pay over 10,000 for a 1500 economy flight ticket then you paid for the water.

North American carriers tend to compete with low cost airlines and have unfortunately extended this type of service to their international routes. I guess United Polaris might be fine for those who only sleep and drink water during the flight.

If you really wanna get good service and food from NRT to LAX, you should consider flying with Singapore Airlines on flight SQ 012. I flew on that route back in late 2021 (of course, I originated from SIN) and they served good food and service was good, despite turbulent COVID times.

The catering is designed for dogs, then + Up to First Class convenience. Another place we are being robbed.

I notice that you did not get the mattress pad and pajamas. Polaris is actually not bad. I actually prefer Polaris seat cushion then many other Asian airlines' especially compares to SQ's "hard" rock cafe seats lol. I will pick Polaris seats over SQ A380/B777-300ER seats for sleeping. I find Polaris lounges in US are much better than ANA lounges in Japan. I did encounter dirty United planes and I even had one video is United, U dirty. lol .. Food in UA business class ....... ha ha ha... we both agree lol. About flight attendants... it really depends on who you get on your flight.

You need to keep in mind that Japanese people cleaned that plane and cooked that food since the flight arrived earlier from the USA. Interestingly you forgot (on purpose?) to lift a lid in the ANA lounge. What was the reason for that? You used the head phones after you called them "cheap." Looks like you don't have better ones that you can use instead. It appears to me that you were extremely biased when you got on that flight. If you want to do reviews you should keep all factors in mind, not just the ones you deem important. Instead of giving a thumbs down you should explain in detail why you give a low score. So far I can give you only a thumbs down. Beside being moody it appears like you think it is your responsibility to slam a foreign product and favor an asian one. If you can't review airlines on an objective level, just get on the flight and don't review at all.

I've flown with business, first class and even the residence class when I went to Singapore. Yes asian airlines tend to be nicer but there's nothing wrong with flying Polaris on United. I've never had an issue with the stewardess service being subpar or the seats being overly dirty. I've had dirty seats on my first class with Singapore airlines too. Theyre not steam cleaning every seat they're trying to get it presentable enough to continue onto the next flight. I'm more than happy to continue flying United polaris since it sure beats flying economy. My last trip was actually with United from LAX to SGN connecting at NRT and I would say the only complaint I had was probably the food not being as hot as I would like it. I've also befriended many of the stewardess and keep in contact with them regularly since I travel monthly. Their main job is not to cater to you, their main job is to make sure you're safe. All in all, I will say, to no surprise, that Singapore Airlines is definitely my favorite.

Sorry you had a bad flight, but in all honesty you had a bad attitude from the get-go. I strongly suggest sticking to Asian airlines in the future so you do not have to subject yourself to the indecency of US carriers.

You haven't done credit card review or hacks for a while

I was in seat 2A BKK-TPE on the 787. It is so much nicer than the old 777s. Better leg room, more storage, larger and better IFE than the reverse herringbone on the 777. As for EVA's lounges, I really like BKK but breakfast time at TPE was very disappointing; crowded, noisy, and the breakfast selections were pretty bad. I ended up leaving the lounge early to get a decent coffee and pastry.
